I laid around on my bed trying to read a manga but couldn't concentrate. With a frustrated sigh I sat up and then I recalled I had promised Mr Denver to meet his wife.

Without wasting time, I dialed his number. He picked up after the third ring, "Yes, Miss McAllen?"

"Mr Denver. Are you free? I wanted to meet your wife." I said.

"Of course. I got her back from a check up just now." He said, "Why don't you join us for lunch?"

"Okay." I agreed since it was a good plan.

"I am sending you the address then."

I cut the call and got ready. It was a good opportunity to meet her since I had told Mr Denver I would. Since I was free, I couldn't waste this opportunity.

I wore normal jeans and a t -shirt with shoes and hung a sling bag as I stormed away from my apartment.

I followed the address and went there with a taxi. Not long after Mr Denver called me.

"Yes, Mr Denver?" I asked as I picked up the call.

"I am near your right turn." He said and I looked at my right and saw he stood there. I waved and went there, cutting the call.

"Good day, Mr Denver." I said, giving him a small hug.

"Good day." He led the way as he asked, "Have you told your coming to Lord Devionth?"

"No."

He stiffened.

"Will there be any problem?" I asked as I could feel his rigid body beside me. Well, I knew that he was a low class demon and he was afraid of Devionth so maybe I should have told him?

"Well. It wouldn't be a problem as long as you are safe, I suppose?" He said but even he was uncertain. We both were a little wary because we didn't know when Devionth's mood swing shot up.

"Let my lord know, just in case?" Mr Denver looked at me as I nodded.

We arrived at their house. It was a small house with a small yard in front of it. A few large trees surrounded the house and two couple chairs stayed on its veranda just beside their entrance door. It was a relatively cute house and my heart melted.

"She bought those chairs when we were young." He realized he was still young, "I mean, at the beginning of our marriage."

I nodded. There was something in Mr Denver's eyes that was making my heart ache. Even though he was a demon, I could feel his kindness and love toward his wife.

As we went near the door, the door opened and there stood two little boys. One was taller than the other and they both looked at me with wide eyes. Although the taller one wasn't that surprised.

"Who is she, papa?" The younger one asked.

"Boys, meet your aunt Carson. She works with me." Mr Denver said, taking the younger one in his arms. The little one looked at me for a moment and said, "Nice to meet you. I am Allen."

"Nice to meet you, Allen." I said, smiling at the little boy. He was just so cute I wanted to cuddle with him.

"Miss McAllen, meet my older boy, Robert." I bent down and said, "Hello, Robert."

He seemed a bit taken aback and with hesitant hands, he shook my hands mumbling, "Hello, Aunt Carson." But suddenly a pair of little horns appeared on his head as he looked at both his father and me and was about to run away while trying to hide his horns. But then his tail poked out.
