"So you guys decided to play in the water, huh? Even tho the sun isn't shining?" I asked five year old little Anna, as she is again seated on my lap just like las time during the bonfire, while I sit on her towel on the beach closely to the river, as the dense-grown forest of the Amazon are surrounding us.

It feels good to have the company of these children, because it's another audience I talk with and I'm working with ofcourse. It isn't me being a teacher all the time. It's just me; Chloe.

In the meantime, Thomas can't get enough of the playtime in the water, he decided to be in it a little longer for a while. In comparison to his sister Anna, she's already fully dressed and dry and practically ready to go back to the village if she wanted to.

After I came to the beach, she decided she rather wanted to spend time with me instead of swimming in the water again just like her brother. However, her hair is still a kind of vaporized because it needs to dry, but try to have that happened with this kind of air hanging in the sky.

It's still somewhat hot, which means it isn't really going to be dry soon enough. Luckily, I already helped her dry it a little by using her towel. And who knows, maybe she will undress herself yet again to jump in all of a sudden; these children like to play at their ages.

Luckily, Thomas is swimming close enough for me to see him properly, even tho they were alone just now. I know Thomas takes care of his little sister, so they wouldn't swim to far into the river, especially because they're so little themselves.

It gets steep whenever you go further, I have this in experience. Not all of us are able to swim, and in any case, pray that it will never happen, the village is not that far away from the river. It's unfortunately still easy to drown here.

"Yeah, but even without the sun it's still hot. The other children are doing it too, but on the other side of the village, so we decided to do it as well." Anna said to me softly, as I slowly feel her playing with my hands around her waist.

I don't know what she's ecactly doing with my hands, but I can assure you they're a little warmer by touch in comparison to the mind controller. I don't mind, but because of this weather, I am kinda longing for a kind of coldness.

The Amazon is still a tropical rainforest where it can be hot, even sometimes in the middle of the nights, when the blankets of the stars are stretching themselves to infinity.

Even tho Anna is five years old, and her brother Thomas ten, I'll have to admit they're pretty smart for their age. For example, they speak the native language very well as they communicate with me, as well with the others. And I know from experience, some words of the native language are still sometimes hard to pronounce.

I teach the students at school English as well, as this is a language that's being spoken all around the world. I wouldn't say it's an easy language, not for all of us, but once you get the hang of it, the words will just simply roll out of your mouth.

I don't have Anna in my class, but I do have Thomas, who's between the ages eight tot twelve. And I can already tell you for a fact he can speak the English language very well, making me proud of him.

On the side note if you're wondering, as Druig has been to a lot of countries and time periods already, I speak English with him as this is somewhat easy for both of us.

Ofcourse after twenty generations of being here in this village, he's used to their native tongue, and as it has been somehow my "mother tongue", we sometimes drop in a few words from the native language we speak here.

I always wondered what kind of other languages changed over time. I know English wasn't invented until the fifth century, collectively known als Old English.
