I immediately ran towards Makkari worriedly, as she's still laying against the pile of rocks on the beach that made her fall even worse, grunting in pain quietly. But luckily, she's alive when I kneeled in front of her.

When we locked eyes, I suddenly see them light up when she sees me, as I am trying to observe her body for injuries.

"I thought you died Chloe." She signed worriedly, making me suddenly remember the last time she saw me.

Sersi warned me before I teleported into the air to save Druig, but luckily, we both survived the fall. I guess it was a reckless move.

"I'm okay Makkari, and Druig is too. Don't you worry, okay?" I asked her softly. She sighed in relief, while the speedster also took a deep breath to calm down from the attack just now.

I wanted to stay with Makkari to help her get up slowly, knowing she is in pain, but my attention quickly got somewhere else.

It's Thena who's walking towards the cave with her weapons ready, almost wanting to make more with her powers. I immediately know what it means, even if I tried to stop her a minute ago.

"Thena." I warned her commandingly, making her immediately stop in her way, looking towards me sternly, as I slowly walked towards her.

I somehow want to stop her of accomplishing her goal. To know she's save, as some worse things can happen whenever she steps foot into that cave.

"Chloe, I have to do this." Thena said calmly, as I am standing in front of her. Because of the way she said it, she sounds very serious to me. It means this chasing and killing of the Deviant Kro, means alot to her, so why doubt the goddess of war after all?

I heard her talk with Druig, after she was saved from Mahd Wy'ry. She needs redemption, even if it might kill her, like Druig already warned her for that.

Kro took a part of Thena, whom is Gilgamesh, and if she kills him, it might set Gilgamesh's spirit free. Otherwise it will haunt her forever, and I don't want to be the one to blamed for.

"Then don't die." I said softly, laying a hand on her golden suit to support her decision, and because of me not stopping her any further in her revenge, Thena only smiled at me.

"I'm not making any promises I can't keep." She said, as it makes my heart beat faster a little.

And before I can even change my mind, Thena already made her way towards the dark cold cave beneath the island, ready to kill her last demons.

Her words reminds me of someone else I'm not protecting right now, hoping he's still save behind my wall of rocks, while Tiamut is erupting himself from the core of this planet.

But it also makes me remember all of the things I've done to her to get to this point where we are now. And that horror is never going to happen again. Not on other planets. Not anymore.

"Where's Sersi?" I suddenly heard Ikaris ask Phastos sternly, as his voice already makes my blood boil. I almost forgot he's still here, and that is why I teleported myself back to Phastos immediately, a few meters from my previous position.

I only made sure of a guss of wind, seeing both Eternals stare at me as I came to join their little chat, but now Phastos knows he's not alone.

And Ikaris knows I'm not on his side, because my angry looking face is letting him know that.

"You always did underestimate her. Pity right, to not be mother's favorite?" I asked Ikaris playfully, knowing my words can make him angrier, which declares how his face is looking right now.
