Chapter 40: Summon The Suit

With the Domo above Saudi-Arabia, Middle-East, 2023

I guess because of my faith in Phastos, just like the others, he succeeded in creating the Uni-Mind for us.

This creation is looking like simple bracelets if you first take a look at it, as you wear them to look pretty on a day, but don't let these metal bands fool you. They contain so much power, as the Spheres make sure of it.

Still, it makes me kinda nervous, as the reality starts to kick in when I'm walking with Druig towards the room where Arishem's statue is located. Luckily Druig is here to comfort me, and to be at my side if something goes wrong.

Stopping the Emergence; it's something I have never done before, as the other planets didn't hit so close to home like this one.

Earth is not just one planet, and because of that, it's worth saving for me.

It's a scenario I haven't experienced before. Like I said, sometimes you want reassurance for something or some events, because you know you've experienced it before, so you know what is going to happen, but it's different this time.

I have never stopped an Emergence before, so how perfectly will it goes? I guess not that much, as we're going to have different obstacles we'll have to deal with.

For example Ikaris, which is why we've made back-up plans. I really hope we doesn't need to make even more back-up plans on the spot to be honest.

"Relax, my beautiful Chloe." I heard Druig say next to me, as we came to a stop in the room, which is why my heart stopped beating so fast, smiling a little as we're standing opposite from each other.

I guess he can already hear my thoughts all over the place. He probably didn't do it for a while to focus himself on the plan, instead of messing around. Still, it's funny whenever he does it, and it gives me comfort somehow.

I guess I'm just so nervous about me summoning the suit again after a long time.

Druig slowly grabbed ahold of my waist as we stared at each other. He also smiled at me, while I grabbed the sides of his jacket firmly, feeling Arishem's statue stare at us.

Because Makkari has found the Emergence point, we are now flying with the Domo towards it, but funny enough, I don't feel the Domo flying at all. She located it somewhere within an active volcano on an island in the Indian Ocean, so that's really far away from the Amazon.

And because of our preparation for the plan, we now have the whole room for ourself, but right now, there isn't much time to make fun.

The other Eternals are already in their suits in Phastos' lab, waiting on us, as the Uni-Mind bracelets came with their suits.

"It's been a long time Druig." I sighed to him, as his smile changed to an understanding look, nodding to me right away.

From all the Eternals, Druig knows me best, so that's why I chose him to be here with me when I summon my suit.

"I know my love. But then you should watch and learn again." He smiled at me, as he walked away, making me let go of his jacket.

Druig walked towards the platforms close to the walls, while I walked towards him to watch him closely.

It made my breathing increase because of the sudden humming sound from the energy the Domo is making, and that's because of the presence of an Eternal.

Druig turned his body to stand against the wall, as my heart skipped a beat because of him winking at me for a moment. It made me smile right away. That's typically Druig.
