Chapter 21: The Cons Of Being A Mind Controller

Chicago, North-America, 2023

Ikaris and Sersi are on their way to seek the inventor Phastos in his hometown called Chicago, which is located in the United States of America, and coincidentally it lays just above the continent of South-America where the Amazon is.

The journey wasn't that long from there to here, but who knows how far we need to travel yet to eventually accomplish our goal.

It's going to be my first time meeting the inventor, if he's coming with us ofcourse. I don't know if it makes me nervous, but I know Druig can still help me overcome this fear of meeting everyone. Still, I am a little bit shy as it comes to those things.

I noticed all of the Eternals slowly coming back together. Only two of them aren't going to be here unfortunately, whom are Ajak and Gilgamesh.

Yet Gilgamesh accomplished his goal before he sadly lost his life. He cured Thena of Mahd Wy'ry, so the Eternals don't have to worry about her anymore.

But still, it looks like there are so many problems they have yet to solve, which includes me. I know, it's a little harsh to call myself a problem.

If Druig could hear me say this right now, he probably would have given me some kind of speech to get the idea straight of my head.

The rest of us is staying inside a big traveling object called an airplane, and believe it or not, it belongs to Kingo. As Druig would say, the big movie star.

Kingo did something with his life after they split up in 1521, and he became a Bollywood star instead, which makes him rich enough to own this airplane.

It's also a private plane, so there aren't that many seats where like a hunderd people can fit in. Probably just ten, and that is good enough for us.

However, many of the Eternals need their own time and space to relax a bit, while Ikaris and Sersi are gone for a while. So they are spread apart on the airplane seats. Some of them are still talking with each other quietly, while Thena tried to catch on some sleep.

It's really a different lifestyle if you ask me, but also differents worlds where we live in, even tho it's still the same planet.

Kingo looks like he has everything, with even his own valet called Karun, who's unfortunately still filming everything with his metal object, but it doesn't really bother me that much.

I lived my life a whole different way, and not owning that much. However, that's probably going to change now, as it kinda did already. The first step was actually to put on some proper clothes according to Kingo, as we are not in the Amazon anymore.

I don't mind changing my clothes, and Kingo had yet the perfect outfit for me luckily. Still, it's from the 80s as he had nothing else, but I like it so far.

It includes a neon splattered shirt, with blue suspenders tight on blue jeans, and white sneakers. I only changed my hair from a high ponytail to putting it half-way up, which makes my hair a little looser.

Druig however, his outfit changed completely, which made my eyes almost melt because of how good he looks. His outfit is mostly black, and I actually notice now he only changed his robe with a black shirt and a black leather jacket.

But god, he really fucking looks good.

Luckily, Druig can't read my mind right now, because just like Thena, he fell asleep in his seat, while I'm seated next to him also trying to get some rest.
