I stared at Regie who was now smiling while playing with his second child. Gieno. Dio Ceto is with their eldest, Giene, playing.

"Coffee?"

Nagtaas ako ng tingin and I saw Jake handing me a cup of coffee. I shook my head but accepted the coffee. Umupo siya sa tabi ko at bumuga ng marahas na hininga.

"You good?" I asked him.

"Are you?" balik tanong niya sa 'kin.

Umiling ako. There is no way I will deny what I felt. And even if I deny it, they knew that I am not.

"Man, you'll pass through this. I believe you'll be okay. It's been almost two years." He tapped my shoulder.

I shook my head again in disagreeing.

"I don't know when will I be okay, Jake. Your cousin has pained me so much."

"And you pained her too, so much." He chuckled.

I was forced to laugh at what he said. He's right. Selena and I had caused so much pain to each other. But I guess mine was the worst one.  I gave her an unforgettable pain that even I, can't forget.

"You having a drama-bro talk?"

I rolled my eyes. He's here again.

"Stop rolling your eyes at me, Mr. Vargax, I may be 34 now but I still punch hard and strong." He stared at me.

I rolled my eyes again to piss him more and he really did. Binigay niya kay Jake ang anak na lalaki. Bago pa ako masuntok ay tumakbo na ako palayo.

"Come back here! Coward!"

Tinawanan ko lang siya. Hinabol niya ako but no way in Earth I'll let him punch my handsome face.

"Both of you, stop!"

Walang nakinig sa sigaw ni Jake na nakasunod sa 'min dala ang anak ni Regie. Nasa pool area kami ng bahay ko at naabutan ako ni Regie dahil muntik na akong mahulog.

Hinawakan niya ang kwelyo ko at nagtatagis ang bagang na sinamaan ako ng tingin.

"Pinagod mo pa akong gurang ka!" sigaw niya.

Napahalakhak ako. Both of us are catching our breath.

"Nagsalita, ha," sarkastikong sabi ko.

"Hey. Hey. You should seriously stop!" sigaw ni Jake.

Maybe he's afraid na maulit ang nangyari 6 months ago. Regie and I did really beat each other. We are both drunk that time and he pissed me off, big time. So I punch and kicked him, and he did the same to me. And Jake was there, he kept on stopping us that is why, instead of me, he was beaten by Regie. He was furious that he beat Regie too.

"This is our bonding, Jake. Ah! I love your brother!" pang-aasar na sigaw ko.

Oh, how Regie hates when I say I love him.

"Thick-skinned!" sigaw niya at itinulak ako papunta sa pool but I was so quick that I pulled his T-shirt so we both fall into the pool.

"Walang hiya!" sigaw niya pagkaahon.

Natawa ako at lumangoy palayo sa kaniya. Umahon ako sa tubig at lumapit kay Jake na hawak si Gieno.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Nothing much." I laughed then get Gieno at Jake's arm.

"Basa ka. Mababasa ang bata!" sigaw ni Jake pero huli na dahil kinuha ko na ang bata.
