Meruem POV:
I now know who I was thinking of... Komugi. How could I forget her..? I ran to where I saw her last, her room. I saw the girl I've forgotten about for all this time. The one girl who isn't terrified of me. The one girl who makes my life worth living. I have to get her out of here. "Komugi..." "Oh! Leader! Where have you been..? Oh that must be rude of me, you were probably very very busy!" She kept rambling until I picked her up and started running. "Leader? Where are we going?" "We're going to safety. Where you won't get hurt." Once I stepped into the bedroom of a house, I sat her down and explained everything, even the part where I'll have to die. I got one more game of Gungi ready for us to play.
I heard her sniffles and a liquid hit the Gungi board. "Komugi. Why are you-" "Leader... Am I allowed to be this happy..?" I sat in shock, staring at her until I got up and held her in my arms. "Komugi. You should have been happy at the start." Everything went black. "Komugi, are you there?" "Yes sir. I'm right here beside you. Can't you see me?" I shook my head, explaining that my eyes stopped working because of my 'sickness'. She laid us down so I couldn't move to get myself hurt in anyway. It's been I little while, I haven't heard anything. "Komugi. Are you still here?" "Yes, leader, I'm still here beside you." She held my hand and squeezed it, reassuring me that she's okay. "Komugi. Can you call me by my name one more time..?" "Of course, Meruem... I'll be visiting you soon, don't worry." The last thing I remember is her kissing my head, then...
I was gone forever. Though, I wasn't alone anymore.
