Marinette is at her work and she was doing another of her fashion designs in her cubicle, trying to come up with ideas. Her mind is too focused on Adrien. Those gorgeous emerald eyes and that soft skin, she so wanted to taste his lips.
"If only you would agree on a date" She sighs in love.
"Daydreaming again, Dupain-Cheng? You're such a klutz!" Chloe bullying her.
"Ah! Chloe! Just don't interfere in my private space!" Marinette complained.
"You always get in my way of winning!" Chloe spat at her.
"It's not about winning, it's about style," Marinette said.
"That's utterly ridiculous!" Chloe scoffed.
"Got any more threats to share, Chloe?" A familiar voice asked.
"A-Adrikins?!" Chloe turned to see Adrien.
"If you want to be impressed, improve on your attitude" He crossed his arms.
"Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!" Chloe leaves them be.
"You okay Marinette?" Adrien asked Marinette.
"I'm doing good, thanks" Marinette replied.
"Sorry about Chloe. She just needs to improve her behavior" Adrien apologized.
"It's alright, I can't believe she's like that" Marinette said.
"Just to impress her mother" Adrien rolled his eyes.
"She's too much like her" Marinette made a note of the two.
"Anyways, I know you've been working so hard on your design ideas for weeks, I was thinking that you need a break and.....well....maybe spend some time together in the city" Adrien blushed.
"Wha-Really? You mean it?" Marinette stammered.
"Of course, just you and me" Adrien nodded.
"But what about the shift? It's only an hour left until our shift ends" Marinette said.
"Well let's call it an early checkout," Adrien said and held her hand.
"Okay, thank you" She thanked him.
"Let's go check out, mademoiselle" Adrien said.

A while later, they hung out at the cafe outside at the table, chatting and looking at the Eiffel Tower. Adrien always wanted to spend time like this as Cat Noir but his alter ego is on the wanted list.
"Well first time for me to go out with my employer, I mean manager," Marinette said.
"Well, boss works too but never mind" Adrien just chuckled.
"You're right that I should take a break on my designs. Do you think I overwork too hard?" Marinette asked and drank her expresso.
"Maybe but I like your style. Chloe's is a bit rushed on hers" Adrien said.
"Yes, so any plans so far for the company?" Marinette asked.
"Well....I haven't thought of anything. Too much on my hands, Mari. But I do enjoy seeing great fashion designs that inspire designers." Adrien said and drank his expresso.
"Oh okay. I've used the famous Cat Noir as part of my designs and even some ladybugs I've seen" Marinette said.
"Ah, good and bad luck inspirations of the black cat and the ladybug. Impressive" Adrien smiled.
"Yeah, it brings a lucky charm" Marinette joked.
"Like the cereal box?" Adrien chuckled.
"You could say that," Marinette said.
