"Good morning." I said coming into the kitchen, even though this morning is everything but good.
I got a couple of replies and that made me realise who's in the room. Ivy, Raven, Tony, Leo, Matteo and Mia.
"You seem in a very good mood." Tony said sarcastically.
"Morning." Blake said coming into the kitchen with Lorenzo and Marcello who I haven't seen when all the drama happened.
"You got the news?" Lorenzo asked me and I nodded.
"What news?" Matteo questioned.
"Henry, Liam and whoever rules the doms left the country." Marcello responded to him.
It's not good. It means they are planing something and it's not good at all.
I leaned on the counter and I have this urge to replace my coffee with some wine.
"It's not that bad. It gives you time to—" Matteo spoke but when I glared at him because this is definitely bad, he stopped saying this bullshit. "Okay yeah it's bad."
I am so stressed out and even scared about this whole thing. Alcohol would definitely help but my brothers wouldn't let me drink this early.
"I have to go to the underground today. Some of the people I saved have nowhere to go and I need to do something about it." I said throwing my head back in frustration. This is a lot of work.
"You don't have to take care of them, you have already done enough." Matteo said.
"Most of them are children." I said. "I can't just not do anything."
"Let Kai just take care of that." Blake said. "You being there has no benefits."
"I also need to make a— what is it called— it's the vote thingy. I don't think I can go to the ball at the moment so I will see if I can procrastinate it." I said.
"Just call the underground king and he will do everything then tell you the results of the vote." Matteo said and I nodded.
"I can call him for you." Lorenzo said and I nodded thanking him.
"Don't you get bored of this?" Mia asked looking at me like some alien. "Do you even have time for Blake?"

"—Or me or your brothers?" She continued when she knew that what she said was so weird.
"Marissa? Can I talk to you alone?" Ivy asked me loosening the tension in the room.
"Sure." I said putting my glass on the table and leaving with Ivy after i glared at my beloved cousin. We were in the dining room when I asked her "what's up?"
