I wish I didn't wake up this morning. I wish I died or something. I deserve it at this point.
I fucked up.
Something I always do.What was I thinking? Getting that drunk knowing that I have a son to look after? I have never lost control over my drinking, but yesterday—what's going on with me? It's like I don't know who I am anymore and I hate who I'm becoming.
I woke up in Blake's room in his shirt— I don't even remember if something happened between us— I remember nothing but that stupid game we played that can be the reason why my son is in danger right now.
I go to my room. I take a shower just because you can smell the alcohol on me from thousands of miles away. I sleeked my wet hair back in a bun, I wore some jeans and an oversized white blouse with some silver jewellery and some black heels. Even if my life is falling apart, I still need to look like I have my life under control. I don't.
I didn't forget to add some make up and wear some sunglasses because my eyes are so easy to read and now I am sure anger and fear and guilt are written all over them. I can't show that.
I walk down the stairs not excited for the reactions I am gonna get from the Blades but as soon as I take a step inside the kitchen, I get attacked by a Blade, the smallest one yet the strongest one and my favourite.
"You look so pretty!" He exclaimed as soon as he saw me running to me for a hug. I don't waste a second before carrying him on my hip giving him a lot of kisses. The way I love him, I can't express it enough.
"Thank you! How did you sleep buddy?" I asked him ruffling his hair before walking to the empty chair on Lorenzo's right, I sit down and put Ace on my lap.
"Good! And they have a game room— bigger than mine! It's so amazing! And I won against uncle Sandro even though I know he's gonna tell you that he let me win but no, I was stronger than him!"
"I am sure you were." I chuckled giving him neck kisses knowing that he's as ticklish as I am and these giggles make my day.
"Can I play outside?" He asked me.
"I'm sorry love, you know there are people outside and they can't see you—"
"You can play outside, just not now." Lorenzo cut me off smiling at Ace who is now excited to go outside even though we all know he can't be seen.
"He can't—"
"I will figure it out." He reassured me. How will he figure it out? He's gonna send the guards home and we stay without protection?
"Why are you wearing sunglasses inside mommy?" Ace asked.
"Don't I look cool with them?"
"You look so cool! I love them."
"And I love you." I am completely ignoring the glares from Blake that is sitting right in front of me, and Aurora who's sitting between Silas and Blake.
