Life is different now. When Cam and I first met, things were rocky and rough. Now look where we are. Look what we've come to. I can't really explain my feelings for him, because if I did, I'd be going on for a very long time. But the bottom line is, I care about him, and he cares about me and right now, that's all that matters.

My phone buzzes and I get a text from someone I thought I'd never hear from. Gale.

"Hey Gale."

"Hello, Leighton." He sounds happy, which is scary when it comes to him. "I need your help with something."

"Anything, what's up."

He pauses for a moment, and silence settles over the line. "You want to help me pack? The apartment had a leak and I'm moving in with a friend. I could use your help on this one."

"I'd love to, Gale." I smile. He hangs up and texts me the address. When I walk downstairs, I see Collin with a girl sitting under him on the couch. I stop in my tracks and stare at them, wide eyed."Oh, hi."

They both look at me. "Hello," she says. She has the brightest green eyes. Her hair is extremely curly with streaks of chestnut blended into brown. She's a petite little thing. If I were to stand, she'd probably be a tiny bit taller than me, but not by much.

"Um, Collin, I'm going to help Gale pack."

"You're going to Indiana?" He asks, confused.

"Yeah, Collin. Tell mom I'll be back next weekend." I reply, sarcastically. He straight faces me. "He's in town, fool. I'm going to help him pack. I'll be back later."

"Okay, take your keys. I might not be home." He snuggles his face into the girls neck as she giggles. I shiver from disgust and walk out the door.

I arrive on a side of town I've never been to. I see Gale standing outside with the same leather jacket he always wears. He smiles when he sees my car pull up. Things have changed since I last saw Gale. I don't want him getting the idea that he can kiss me freely because he thinks I'm single.

I get out of my car and walk up to him. He pulls me into his embrace and for some odd reason, I melt. Because I haven't touched him in so long and he was my first everything.

"I've missed you." He speaks into my hair.

"I've .. missed you too." He hasn't been on my mind, lately, to be totally honest. So it's kind of a lie saying I've missed him.

"Come on, we have to get packing now. I can't be here much longer." I smile as he takes my hand and leads me to his room.

It's just like his old room, and exactly how I pictured it too. Nirvana posters, lava lamps, silly pictures of Einstein. He hasn't changed a bit. And I don't mind that either. His living room is filled with dirty clothes, most of them stink so he picks them up on the way in. "Sorry, my roommate's a lazy bum." He laughs, picking up some more shirts.

"I like it." I utter. "It's just like you."

He smiles and stares at me. "Adam, my roommate, agreed to let me design it how I wanted. It sucks that I have to take it all down..." He looks around the room with a frown.

I sling my arm around his broad shoulders and grin up at him. "Well we can make your new place ten times better than this."

He smirks down on me. His eyes are dark, but specks of grey and green are randomly scattered in them. They frantically search my face, looking for something. I don't know what, but it's definitely something. It's like when Cameron looks at me. Why do they do that?

He leans in slowly and I freeze. He can't do that. He can't just kiss me after 10 years of not contacting him. He can't just waltz back into my life and smash his lips on mine. I don't know where he's been. Who he's kissed. Who he's seen. How am I supposed to do that? How can he do that?

I pull away and walk over to his messy couch. "You can't do that."

"Do what?"

"Kiss me." He raises his eyebrows, asking me why with his expression. "I have a boyfriend." I explain.

He seems to be taken back by my reasoning. More disappointed than upset, which wasn't expected. "Oh." He simply states. "I see."

"Don't do that."

"Do what?" He asks, even though he knows. He knows I hate when he does that. He expects me to cradle him now, like I did before. But I can't do that, because cradling leads to other things. And I can't do things with him. Because I love someone. I love Cameron.

I shake my head. "What do we need to pack?"

He stands there with his hands buried in his pocket, staring at me for a moment, expecting me to crack, but I don't. He always does that too, but it won't work this time. I can't let it. He walks away and comes back with a couple brown boxes.

"Now, we pack."
