"Cameron can you please tell me where we're going?" I inquire as I try to recognize the things on the side of the freeway as we pass them.

"Nope, I can't say. It's a surprise, and I can't ruin that." He answers, not taking his eyes off the road.

I sit back and pout in my seat, the way I used to do when I was a child. It always worked then, and usually it works with Cameron, but today it didn't.

*Later*

We pull up to a fancy restaurant titled Parkers' Lighthouse. It overlooks the sea beautifully and it's surrounded by fascinating palm trees. There's a lot of people sitting outside but mostly everyone's inside, covering their skin from the sun that shines elegantly on the place.

Cameron takes the key out of the ignition and looks over at me with a content smile.

"What is this place?" I ask, staring into the window as waiters serve people and people help other people.

"It's Parkers' Lighthouse. You've never been here?"

"I can't even afford to drive here," He laughs, but I'm serious.

"Come on," he says as he exits the car. It's only until he walks in front of the car that I realize how nice Cameron actually looks. He's wearing a button down shirt with sleek black pants and black dress shoes. He opens my door for me. I get out and immediately hug him. He laughs and stumbles back, but still hugs me.

"What?"

"I just ...." I pull away. "I love you."

He smiles as his eyes glisten into mine. "I know." I smirk as he grabs my hand and leads me into the restaurant.

"Hi. Reservation for Dallas." He greets a man behind a black counter before pointing to some paper. The man nods and grabs two menus. He sits us near a window and I instantly feel the sun prickle at my skin.

"Thanks for this, Cam." I smile, viewing the menu. I let my eyes wander up and I see him smiling, which makes me smile.

A few minutes later, a waiter comes up to us. Cameron instantly stands up and greets him with the biggest smile. "Hey, buddy."

They laugh and pat each others backs before he takes his seat again. The waiter looks at me and smiles. "So this is her?"

"Yeah," Cameron mumbles, staring lovingly at me.

"Hey, I'm Noah." He holds his hand out and I shake it and smile. Noah's a buff guy. His muscles are making his shirt look smaller than it actually is. Tall, too. Maybe about 6'5. His green eyes elegantly graze over my body as his brown hair swoops over his head. "Well let's start off with drinks."

I'm about to speak but Cameron interrupts me. "My favorite." Noah does a nod and smiles before walking away.

"Hey," I pout, upset that I didn't get to order something.

"I promise you'll love it." He smiles.

I bite the inside of my cheek and nod. "So you know him?"

"Who Noah? Yeah, we've been friends since like birth. He moved over here last year when he graduated."

"He seems nice." I smile and grab his hand. "So..."

He smirks and squeezes my hand. "What?"

"What's all this for?"

"I can't take you out for lunch?" I shoot him a certain look and he caves in. "I just ... I felt bad."

"For what?" His eyes willingly look away, showing disappointment in them. "About the thing that happened the other day? Cameron you already apologized for that-"

"But what I said," his hand pulls away from mine. "You didn't deserve that."

I'm about to speak when Noah comes back with two wine glasses and a fancy botte of wine. He sets the glasses down and red liquid comes out of the bottle. "Ready to order?" Cameron nods and orders. After that, I do the same and Noah takes our menus and walks away.

"They let you drink this?" I ask, sliding my fingers around the cup. He nods and smiles, doing the same. I'm about to take a sip when he stops me.

"We have to make a toast." I smile and look up at him. He holds his drink out and thinks of something to toast to.

"To forgiveness," I say once he can't think of anything. He smiles as his cheks burn a bright pink.

"To forgiveness." He repeats. Our glasses clink and I swish the red wine down. It's like an eruption of flowers and candy and summer time exploding in my throat. It takes so good, my lips go back for more.

After lunch we order dessert. Cameron gets us a double fudge cake with ice cream. Noah walks over to us and drops the bill.

"You about to get off?" Cameron asks Noah as he pulls out a pen.

"Yeah, I'm tired." He turns to me and smiles. "These people are really snobby."

I laugh. "Hey, I was nice."

"Eh," he shrugs playfully.

After paying, we say bye to Noah and walk out. I feel stuffed, I have to cling onto his arm to get to the car.

"Where to now?" I ask after looking at the clock and seeing that it's only 2:30.

"That is also a surprise..." he says as he helps me slide into the passanger side of the car.

"What's up with all the secrets? This isn't Pretty Little Liars, Cam." I laugh once he gets into the car.

He laughs and starts the car. "But it's funny hearing you guess."

I mock his taunts, which only makes him laugh harder. Then, we drive off ....
