Monday comes around and my mom forces me to go to school. She tried to get me to talk about Gale last night, who I've been terribly avoiding for the past day.

I'm lazy, so I slide on some grey large sweatpants, a black crop top, and all black vans. I grab my bag and walk downstairs while doing my bun, which probably looks like shit, by the way.

My mom's gone, but she left $30 on the counter for food. I decide to eat McDonalds. I sit in there a while, slowly chomping on my food.

I drive to school, half asleep, and head to my first block. I bump into someone on the way there. I manage to keep my eyes open after the clash. "Hey." Taylor smiles down at me.

"Hello."

"What's wrong?"

"I'm just tired, that's all." I explain, rubbing my eyes, absent minded of the fact that I still have a little bit of makeup on my face.

"Where'd you leave to Friday night?"

"Uhhh, I went home. I was tired." I lie.

"Want me to walk you to class?" I nod and lock my arm in his, with a smile. Taylor can brighten up someones day. He takes the bag off of my back, and puts it on his. I smile and lean my head on his shoulder. I can't seem to walk in a straight line, but we manage to get to class. "Maybe no more drinking." He teases. I laugh and take my bag from his hands.

I walk to my seat and plop down, before fully laying my head down. A couple seconds later a voice whispers, "wake up." My eyes fly open and I see Cameron's light brown eyes connected with mine. He laughs before moving back. "You're here early." I groan before closing my eyes again. "Did the princess not get enough beauty sleep?" I shake my head, fake pouting. "I'm gonna get coffee when lunch comes around, wanna come?"

This makes me a bit happier. "Sure. Is this the time we hang out?" I ask.

"Oh, of course not. If we're going to hang out, I'm gonna have you for more than 20 minutes." He informs me with a smile, which erupts anxious butterflies into my feeble stomach....

~Lunch~

I wait outside for Cameron to come. To be honest, I'm kind of nervous. I just don't want to kiss him again. I still want to get to know him, and I have a feeling I will when we go out for coffee.

"Hey, you." Cameron's voice sounds from behind me. "Ready to go?" I smile and nod. I follow him to his car.

"I was starting to think you just got a ride from everyone else." I joke. He looks over at me with a smile tugging on the corner of his lips.

"How do you think I get to school every day, Leighton?"

"I don't know ... a ride from someone else .." He chuckles. We get to his car and I walk over to the passengers side. I reach for the handle, but he stops me.

"What are you doing? That's my job." He sassily tells. He opens my door and extends a hand. "There you go..."

"Such a gentleman." I tease before getting in the car. He goes around the front of the car and gets in on his side. After starting up the car, he starts driving to Starbucks (which is heaven in four small walls to me). I look over at him and see his seatbelt stranding off. "What are you doing?" I inquire without thinking.

He looks over at me with a confused face. "What?"

"Put your seatbelt on, you fool." He laughs and looks down at his seatbelt.
