I wake up on top of Cameron. His light snore frequently brushes my hair back. I smile and sit up, careful not to wake him. I slip on some clothes and go to the bathroom. After washing my face, I walk back out and see Cameron rolling over to face me.
"Good morning," he says, sleepily. I smile and crawl into bed with him.
"Hey sleepy head." I poke his nose as he wraps his arms around my small body.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, you?" I smile and run a finger across his chest. He nods, beforing dozing off again. I smile. I grab my phone and see no missed calls or texts from my brother, surprisingly, since I was supposed to be home last night. I begin to think he forgot, but then I remember, it's Collin we're talking about here.
30 minutes, Cameron finally wakes up. He's smiling when I turn around and look at him.
"What?"
"I had the best dream," he grogs but still sounding happy.
"Oh yeah?" He nods with a content smile. "What was it about?"
He sits up and begins to speak. "You and me we're on a beach, I'm not sure where, but it was beautiful. And we had a picnic, and it was like the sun was setting for hours." I stare at him as his smile gets wider and wider. He catches my eye and laughs. "Sorry, it was just a nice dream."
I go back over and sit on top of him. I run a hand through his hair as his fingers go up and down on my back. "It's okay."
"We should get you home, yeah?" I nod and kiss him. He sighs and kisses back harder.
After what feels like a few minutes, I pull away and catch my breath. He smiles and brushes hair behind my ear. "Let's take you home."
