A/N: Cam looks way too hot in this pic I can't k bai
______
Cameron comes about 15 minutes after my brother leaves. We sit in the car, waiting at a red light. I want to ask him where were going but I bite my lip instead, holding back every thought I have. I look over to see him smiling at himself for some reason, which makes me smile."What?" I ask him. He looks over at me and arches his eyebrows. "Why are you smiling so hard?" I clarify.
He shrugs then locks his eyes back on the road.
I giggle and the light turns green. We slowly pick up the pace before maintaining a steady speed. "Where are you taking me?"
"That's a surprise, darling." He smiles, peaking over at me.
"Cameron I hate surprises. With a passion I do." I look out the window to try and recognize my surroundings, but by now we're on the highway. "Where the hell are we?"
He laughs, keeping his eyes on the road. "That's what I love about you. You're so curious." He admits, admiringly.
"Yeah, yeah, cut the bullshit and tell me where we're going."
He laughs hysterically, and I can tell he's trying to avoid my questions, but he won't budge. "Leighton, you're just going to have to wait and see."
I pause for a moment, arching my eyebrows and looking out the window. I make some weird expression into the distance like I'm on The Office and there's a camera there or something. "Are you ... are you telling me no?"
He looks over at me for a moment before smiling. "Yeah, Leighton, I'm telling you no."
"I .." I grab my chest. "I've never heard such thing ... what is a 'no'? I can't ..."
"Oh jeez," he mumbles to himself, trying not to laugh.
"I can't breathe. The pain, it's too much." I clench my chest harder and lean back a bit. "Cameron how dare you tell me no."
"I've spoiled you too much," he says, looking down at me as I over-dramatically breathe with my tongue out. "Would you stop it?" He asks, pulling me back into my seat while trying to not drive off the road at the same time. I giggle. "Oh my God, Leighton."
By now, the highway is dead and empty which is surprising for anything near California and wherever the hell he's taking me. I look out my rear view mirror and see a white van behind us. It looks so familiar, but I don't know where I've seen it from. I keep my eyes on it as it seems to swerve into every lane we go into.
"Hey, I think you have some fans." I mumble, playing with my lips and keeping my eyes on the van. I look at Cameron, who peaks into the mirror before looking back into the road.
"They're probably just going the same place I'm going." He murmurs.
"They've been going into the same lanes as us." They come into the lane on the right of us and slow down a bit.
He turns around to get a better look. I do the same. He squints at the van, but doesn't seem to recognize it either.
"I don't know it looks-" I turn my head forward and see what appears to be a man in a construction workers uniform standing in the middle of the road. "CAMERON!"
He immediately turns forward and yanks the wheel to the right. The man just stands there with a sly look on his face. I can feel Cameron trying to get ahold of the steering wheel but by now we're coming towards a tree. He tries to stop, but by then we're too late. Everything goes dark.

"Baby ... Leighton, are you okay?" It's almost faint. I hear a solid ringing in my ears, canceling out every other sound. "Leighton." Ring. "Leighton." Ring. "Babe, talk to me."
The ringing dies down and I recognize Cameron's voice.
"Cameron?" I mumble slightly.
I hear him scuff out of relief. "Leighton, are you okay?"
My head is throbbing and I feel a pain in my left thigh. My side feels like someone took a metal bat and hit it seven times as hard as they could. My vision is kind of impaired and that pain won't stop. I look down at my thigh. At first I think I'm hallucinating, but once I touch it I know it's real.
"Cameron," I start to cry, letting the actual pain set it. He rubs his head and looks over at me. His eyes follow mine to see a piece of glass piercing into my thigh. "Cameron." I cry again like me saying his name will somehow make this all a dream.
"Hey, you're okay. It's okay, we're going to get you out of this." He reassures me but my heart thumps loud in my ears and my eyes are going in and out again. He starts unbuckling his seatbelt, when I hear a man laughing. I look over at Cameron, but he has the same face as me.
"That was some show!" The voice calls out over the sound of the car.
Cameron tries to unbuckle his belt faster all while trying to find the source of who's talking. In a flash, a man comes in through his side of the window and slams his head against the steering wheel, instantly knocking him out.
"Cam!" I yell, undoing my seatbelt. I hear a crumble of leaves on the right side of me. I turn.
My father's face smiles back at me. He looks like grim reaper with a gold tooth.
"You know I could never hurt you." He says before smiling. I try to crawl away, but he grabs my face and shoves it into a dirty blue rag. I scratch at his arms and wrists and kick the dashboard but I already feel the mysterious fumes getting into my system and running through my veins.
Then everything goes dark again.
