"Oh my god who did that?!" Audrey laughed. Some of the other women giggled a bit too, seeing no one was very fond of Wilhemina. Turning around, I see Diane retreating back to her room.

I rush to Wilhemina's room and see her putting all her weight on the window sill and looking at the pool. She sobbed as I stood at the door, watching her come undone.

"I really never thought you would do something like this y/n," she sobbed from the window, somehow knowing I was standing there.

"What?"

"First, you took my pills, and then you threw my cane in the pool. I really didn't know Diane would make you hate me that much."

"Me?! Wilhemina I would never do either of those things!"

"Oh please! I know Diane has you under her little spell. She put you up to this. I just never thought you would go through with that. I'm sorry you're sick y/n but that is fucked up," she yelled, turning around.

I practically sobbed as I ran to her and took hold of her as she almost fell.

"Mina, Mina please. I didn't take your meds. Sally she- gave me them I had no idea they were yours."

"So now you're doing drugs?"

"NO! No, I accidentally caught her stealing them so she gave me some to "keep me quiet." And I had nothing to do with your cane Wilhemina I'm so sorry. Please believe me. I- I love you. I don't want to hurt you."

"I want my medication. And I want my cane back," she huffed with tears in her eyes. I just nodded and I helped her sit down before running to the stairs and rushing down them and out to the pool area. I shook my head and braced myself before diving into the freezing water.

I swam down and grabbed her cane from the bottom, when I swam up, I placed it on the side of the pool and pushed myself up, taking deep breaths, seeing it was so cold.

Tammy, Amanda, Audrey, and Harriet all watched from the window and laughed as I jumped in.

"Oh poor thing. She must be so cold," Tammy said.

"Holy shit. Do you think she did it?" Amanda asks.

"Oh bloody hell no. I'll bet it was Diane. Wilhemina and y/n were kissing during movie last night. I'm sure Diane is jealous."

"It's disgusting," Harriet mumbled.

"What?" Tammy asks.

"The whole thing. As if sleeping with a woman isn't bad enough. I mean I'm not homophobic but at least keep it to your damn self."

"No I saw how you ran out of the movie last night when Cate Blanchett started eating Rooney Mara's breasts," Audrey laughed, making the other women laugh as well. Harriet just rolled her eyes and walked away. That's when they saw me in the hallway, soaking wet and shivering, holding the cane in my hand. I stopped at Wilhemina's door and she looks up, seeing it in my hand.

"....I got it," I said with an awkward face. Wilhemina covers her mouth and softly giggled.

"Oh god. Sweetheart you're shivering."

I laughed and walked to her, holding the can to her.

"Well it's 8 am and 50 degrees out... and cloudy..."

"Thank you sweetheart. I-I know you didn't do it. I'm sorry I was just upset."

"Did you get your medication yet?"

"Yes Ellie gave it to me. Thank you y/n."

"Yeah. No problem," I weakly smiled and went to leave until her voice stopped me.
