Cordelia held me in her arms, bridal style, gently down the hallway, back to her room."You're alright. I'm sorry sweetheart."
I just sniffled, placing my hand above the valley of her breasts with my face nuzzled into her. My face was red hot and I clenched my fists, sobbing. Wilhemina opened the door and Cordelia gently laid me down on the bed.
"What did I do?" I sobbed quietly into my hands as I rolled on my side, curling into a ball on the soft bed.
"Nothing baby. You didn't do anything," Cordelia says as they both sit beside me, comfortably stroking my body. Mina's face was full of anger. She felt it in every bone. She didn't understand how anyone could say those things. If she didn't hate Madison before, she definitely did now.
"It hurts really bad," I mumbled, squeezing my eyes shut as tears streamed down my face with my hands clamped over my stomach.
"I know baby I know" Cordelia whispered. Mina lays next to me, looking at me and stroking my bruised cheek with her knuckles.
"You're alright sweetheart."
"God, I hope you have some spell for Madison when she wakes up with her head split open," I said, carefully sitting up and looking to Wilhemina, while wincing at the pain in my torso, wiping my tears with my arm.
"I did not split her head open. That girl got what she deserved," she huffed, squeezing my hand. I placed my other hand over hers and caress her knuckles.
"Mina it's okay."
"I mean sure maybe I was being a little extreme but no it's not okay, y/n. That girl needs some serious discipline."
"And that's what she'll get. Trust me," Cordelia says. "I'm gonna get you some ice and whip up something in the greenhouse I'll be back."
I stayed laying on the bed with Wilhemina and felt my face throbbing. I could taste something in my mouth as well and as I wiped it, red covered the back of my hand. I realized the pain on my cheek so it was definitely from when she punched me.
"Mina?"
"Yes baby?" she says, then noticing the red on my knuckles. "Is that from your mouth?" She gasped with worry, immediately sitting up. I just nodded. "We should go to the bathroom and rinse that sweetheart come on."
We went to Cordelia's bathroom, to the sink. I fill a small paper cup with water and swish it in my mouth, spitting a few times. I looked at myself in the mirror to see my now bruised eye and cheek. Wilhemina steps behind me and sneaks her hands around my waist, kissing my neck. I close my eyes and sigh before reaching a hand behind me to caress her face.
"Mina?"
"Yes sweetheart?"
"I don't feel well."
"Still?" I just nodded my head and Mina pulled me into her chest. "I'm sorry sweetheart. Come on let's lay back down."
I got back into the bed and that's when Cordelia walks back in with two ice packs, pressing them against my face and stomach, making me wince.
"Cordelia?"
"Yes sweetheart?"
"I'm hungry."
"Okay honey. What can I make you?" she asks with a smile and drawn, relieved eyebrows.
"Uhm... Surprise me?"
Cordelia let out a small chuckle and nodded.
"O-of course. Of course. Mina, do you want to help me or uhm, stay here?"
