We got in Cordelia's car and I decided to sit in the back. Normally, Cordelia and I would walk to the shops but it was out of the question, seeing that Mina doesn't get around well like that with her condition. The two women chatted in the front, laughing, making conversation with me. We played some Fleetwood Mac as we drove down the busy streets of New Orleans. We parked on the side of the road and got out, walking into the homey, calming store. Mina immediately went to romance novels and Cordelia went to look as well. I ended up in the poetry section and felt a hand on my ass.

"What are you looking at honey?"

I was surprised to see that it was Delia. I blushed immensely as she brushed her hand over my lower back. I look over to Mina who had a smile on her face as she looked away.

"Uhm... I don't know I've been wanting to find some poetry books so."

"Ooo good choice. Poetry is good for a lot of things."

"I'm looking for Rupi Kaur. I... feel like I relate to a lot of her stuff."

Cordelia nods with an apologetic smile and kisses my cheek.

"Oh hey guess what? They added a spirituality section since the last time we were here. They have crystals, tarot cards, candles, and really pretty incense holders."

"Okay catch me over there," I laughed. "Let me just- oh!" I said, finding the book I was looking for. "Perfect."

I quickly made my way over to the table lined with the things Cordelia had just mentioned. I did need some new Tarot cards and Zoe and I were just talking about some so I just got a deck for her as well a candle. I then went to see what Mina was looking at.

"Hey sweetheart," she says, already holding six books, making me giggle. "Thank god I brought my card..."

I held up the candle I picked out. It was purple and there are crystals inside so when you burn it, you just get crystals and I thought it was fucking sick.

"Smell this."

She brings her face to it and inhales as she looks at me with a smile.

"Oh my that smells lovely. And it's purple."

We were all ready to checkout and Cordelia insisted on paying for everything.

"Cordelia, you don't have to do that-"

"Mina, I insist. Don't worry about it," she says with a shy smile, quickly looking her up and down. Cordelia turns to the cashier and hands them her card.

We all walked back to the car and I looked to the right, seeing a coffee shop that the girls and I used to always go to.

"I forgot about that place. I loved it there," I said, not taking my eyes off of it. They had the most amazing pastries and coffee. Mina and Cordelia look at each other.

"Do you want to go honey?" Cordelia asks. I looked to them and nodded. They both smile and shut the car doors. We walked in and were immediately hit by the thick smell of coffee grounds and baked goods. It made my mouth completely water. We walked to go order and I looked at Delia.

"You know my order right?"

"Black coffee, no sugar, no cream? Yes y/n, I know your coffee order," she says with that mom look. I smiled and jokingly pat her arm.

"Perfect. I need to sit down."

I went to a small booth and waited for Wilhemina and Cordelia to order. I look back and see them holding hands. My eyes furrow in confusion and I shake my head.

I've seen too many signs now. They were completely flirting with each other and Cordelia has been acting much more confident with showing me affection lately. It was all a big clusterfuck in my mind. Were they in love and trying to slowly push me out, letting me down easy? Or were they in love... but... not looking to let me down at all? I shook my head. That couldn't be it. Could it....?
