a/n: I can't even believe people are still reading this book but I love you all so so much and thank you. This book is my favorite one I've written and idk where it's going or how many more chapters I'm writing but... We're gonna find out!!

There was an open spot next to Lana so I immediately sat beside her.

"Where's Diane?"

"You didn't know? She was taken away. I heard Dr. Staple called an EMT saying she was going to kill herself."

"Is that true?" I replied.

"No idea. Seems weird though don't you think?"

I look to Dr. Staple and she shoots me a quick, guilty look. I've always been able to see truth behind someone's eyes and it wasn't that.

"She lied." I whispered to myself in shock. Lana gives me a confused expression as she bites a small potato off her fork.

"What?"

"You lied." I said louder, now looking at Dr. Staple with an angered face. She looks at me and stops chewing. I could tell she was scared. "YOU FUCKING LIED!" I screamed, standing up. Everyone at the table looked at me, most with wide eyes.

"y/n, what are you talking about?" she laughs nervously.

"DIANE DIDN'T TRY TO KILL HERSELF! YOU LIED TO THEM. BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T LET PEOPLE KNOW YOU LET DIANE DO ALL THE THINGS SHE DID, RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE."

"y/n, sit. down." she hissed, standing up as well.

"NO! You know it's true! You know what she fucking did to me!"

"Yes. I do. But y/n, you need to calm down."

I look to Wilhemina and she had barely any expression behind her eyes. She just watched. I shook my head and sat back down in disbelief.

"Well... I can't wait to see how bad you look when the girl who's been here for four months is leaving, weighing less than she did when she got here," I said with a mocking smile. "You're an amazing Doctor Ellie I mean really you are saving lives left and right aren't you?" I taunted, Xandra and Audrey started laughing as well as Lana, and even Wilhemina. Audrey starts clapping too.

"Yes bravo Ellie. I haven't wanted to take one sip of alcohol since I stepped foot in this place!" The blonde snickered. Billie laughed as well as Tammy giggled. Lana and Xandra started clapping as well.

"Yes I can't even look at a coke line without wanting to throw up. Truly, thank you Ellie," Xandra says with fake pout. Dr. Ellie stands up with a huff and "calmly" walks to her office. Everyone else starts laughing and clapping as she stands and leaves.

She retreated back to her office, making everyone at the table laugh. I sat back, shaking my head with a small smile. Alice and Nurse Aird look at each other and try to mind their own business, finishing their food.

After dinner, everyone heads upstairs and soon, Tammy pulls me to the side.

"Hey, y/n."

"Tammy what's up?"

"I just wanted to say, I'm sorry about ever that's happened to you here. And I'm sorry you have to go under these kind of circumstances."

"It's okay Tammy. I'm not getting anywhere here. Sorry you've been here so long. I really hope you get out soon."

"Thank you sweetheart," she whispered, pulling me into a comforting hug. I closed my eyes, enjoying her warm embrace, knowing I wasn't going to get any affection like this for a while. She pulls away with a weak smile.
