My family has been in such debt since I've been born. It had traveled through out my whole family for 30 years now. The debt dealers have been threatening us for many years too, once when i was 3 they told my parents if they don't pay up 20,000$ from the debt, they will take me away. Of course it was payed successfully... barley. Everyone tried their best to pay up, but it's hard to earn such money in Puerto Rico.
Once i turned 19 i moved out to the U.S to get a job.

I've been trying to help out so much to the point nothing works. I thought to myself, ' this shit isn't working fast enough'. Suddenly, a terrible idea came to mind, stealing .

Stealing at first was a pain in the ass, but a few years passed that I've been getting more and better money. No one's ever caught me, not a single person knows i do it, not even my loved ones, but it's for the best.

I've been handling money great on my own, stealing, taking everything worked great for 4 years. Shut has been fun, I've even mastered my patkouring skills for height on my targets. Skills on me have developed, like listening, identigying stuff, and stamina.

(Present day) y/n POV

" UGH! " I drop down to my bed. "Such a boring day today was. There's nothing to do! Robing that dumb f-boy was like taking candy from a baby. And it's like what1 a.m right now ? Joder no me gusta esto.( Fuck, i don't like this )" i turn around to face the window that shows the moon. "I could go out. . . Maybe parkour around for a bit" I admire the moon's light . . . " You know what? Yes! That's what I'll do!"

Quickly i bounce off me bed straight to my closet. I put on some flexible clothes, i open my window jump out quickly i bran the roof. I lift myself up, i look around to decide which direction I'll go.

I prepare myself, run, then leap, boom, I'm at another rooftop. I've been at it for 10 mins when bored omw kicked in again.

"This is lame, let's have some fun, i deserve it after all. I think."

I stay up above the houses and see no one around. But i find a man who seems like a good target.

"He seems just right "

Carefully and cautiously i followed from above. The man looked suspicious tho. He was almost all covered up as if not wanting to get identified but that didn't bother me. I kept my eyes right on my target, eyes locked and ready for an opportunity to ambush. But it never came, instead the strange man took his hands out of his pockets and sprinted away as fast as he could. Before he ran off, something fell out of his pocket.

" Why did you leave ? I did nothing wrong. Mierda ! He dropped something tho, I'ma give it a look in a bit. Gotta make sure he doesn't come back." I whisper.

I wait, for a couple of minutes when i decide to check it out. I quickly grab it and head back to the roofs.

" What is this? Some sort of business card? Is it even worth anything? The Apex.... Games... Hmm. I play video games but I've never heard of this one before."

I turn the card around.

" Is this some sort of video game discount or ? Huh? What's this?.....100,000$!!?? WHAT!? What is this? Wait... Become an Apex predator and win 100,000$ per match won? Is this a game or what? I'ma check this out more at home!"

I get home fast as possible and search up Apex Games. I find interesting clips of people killing each other. That's weird? Why would they kill each other, is this even legal? But how are they still alive on other clips if they died? I watched and did as much research as posible. There is this one legend lime looking clothes with goggles, mask and robotics legs wtf? I made research on this crazy legend and it turns out he blew up his own legs for a stunt ? Jeeze crazy guy he is.
