Chapter 22 - No More

"Can you explain what in the outlands you two were doing down there?" Headmaster talked in fury. He'd brought us to his office, mad pissed he is.

" Uhm. . . " I mumble. Tavi right next to me not knowing what to say either.

He looked at us straight in the eyes, first he looked at me, then to Tavi wanting a response. We were cowards, no sound came out of us.

" Fine, if you won't tell me, I guess she can." He looked at the two big doors behind us. We both looked behind us waiting for whoever it is to enter. "Come in " he gave permission.

Slowly the doors opened revealing a young-looking girl.

" Oh, uhm hi?" She speaks.

" Who are you?" I ask.

" She is a new legend. We were going to reveal her in a couple of days, but she saw something, unusual, at the park tonight. "

" Shit." Tavi mumbles under his breath.

" Tell them what you saw Xiomara (vantage)

" As I mentioned before sir. Call me Mara."

" Right, go ahead Mara, tell me what you saw."

"Well, me and echo were practicing in the park late at night." A cute bat reveals itself as it crawls on her shoulder. She softly greets it with her cheek.

" Go on" he says.

" When out of nowhere these robots appeared in the sky. But me and echo didn't care much. Hours passed, suddenly the robots just left together. I followed when I suddenly heard cheering. It was him who was cheering on something." She points at Tavi. "They jumped over the fence. Suddenly he jumped then she followed behind. I thought they just committed suicide, so I came here quickly to inform." She continued to speak when I whispered over to Tavi.

" We need to get out of here." I whisper.

" But how? There is no way we can get out of this."

" Figure something out, we need to take them back."

" What do you mean, back? Headmaster impels for an answer as he shushes the girl. I quickly close my mouth shut.

He looks at me and Tavi. " Please tell me you got nothing to do with those traitors, bringing people from earth to here."

We say nothing.

He sighs. He speaks to a MRVN, " Bring Natalie in. Tell her we found the traitors. "

The robot nods and heads out in search for her.

" Please we-. . . I can explain!"

" Then explain yourself." He crosses his arms.

Tavi puts his hand on my shoulder, I look over to him. he shakes his head telling me to not say anything at all. I nod as we wait for Natalie to arrive. 

" So, you won't explain yourself then." he takes a seat on his chair. " Fine, don't talk at all. Just, sit down." he holds his face in disappointment.  " You too Mara."

" Yes sir." she shits down. 

A few minutes go by, the doors open. Natalie walks in beside the MRVN. We look at her, she looks at us and frowns is sorry. " Oui Monsieur?"

" The traitors have been caught, just need to find the fugitives. "

" Can I take the traitors to me control room to interrogate to figure out where the others are?"

" Yes." He sighs as he turns himself around facing his back towards us.

"C'mon, dis way." She shows us where to go. We follow.
