I was getting carried back to the Kinkou by Akali since my leg had a huge stab wound in it.

"Akali"?

"Hmm"? Her eyes looked down at me.

"Do you think Mayym would be mad at me"?

"Mad at you for what"?

"For leaving the Kinkou without her permission".

Akali makes a questioning sound. "I don't know how she would react but I will be with you every step of the way".

I quirked an eyebrow "Akali, I thought you didn't do promises".

"I'll make an exception this time but no more after that".

I wrapped my arms around her neck and gave her a kiss on the cheek "That's so sweet of you Akali".

A raging blush grew on Akali's face "A-any thing for my Dumpling".

After a few weeks of traversing through Ionia's wilderness. My leg healed up and we could see the Kinkou monastery from the top of a hill.

"I guess this is the end of the road huh"?

I pull down her mask a gave her a soft kiss on the lips. "Take care of yourself Noodle, I'm going to miss you".

"Don't say that Dumpling, I'll always visit you at night when no one's around".

I leaned closer to her "Sometimes, I wish I could stay with you".

"Why you say that Dumpling"? Akali asked.

"Because out here you are so open and free to do what you please, while I'm stuck here struggling to be the perfect image for Master Mayym".

Akali sighs "(Y/N) ever since I left the Kinkou, I was shunned for my actions by everyone all except two. And that was Shen and Kennen those there the only two people who excepted my choice".

"I'm sorry that you had to go through that".

"Don't worry about a thing Dumpling, I have to get you back home".

"Race you back there". I sped ahead of her.

"Hey, you can't do that, that's cheating". Akali protests.

It was a tie.

Akali wiped the sweat off her brow. "Your a fast one Dumpling".

"Your not too slow yourself".

We share one final hug before we split ways.

"Behave (Y/N)".

"You know I can't stay out of trouble Akali, you know that".

Akali gives a lighthearted chuckle." That's my little rebel".

She bursts into a puff of smoke.

I inhaled. "Now or never". I opened the doors of the Kinkou.

(???): Welcome back (Y/N)

I looked down and saw Kennen.

"Oh, hi didn't even see you there, why are you even here anyways ".

"To greet you of course". He answered.

I bent down and pat his head. "Well aren't you just the sweetest".

"Mayym was looking for you and she's not happy".

A bead of sweat rolled down my face. "I had a feeling that Mayym was looking for me".
