Guys...Dom not having character development is intentional. The PTSD and trauma both characters share is NOT something that is fixed in one short story. Especially mafia related. I'm not writing a toxic Wattpad book. It's a realistic timeline for deeply flawed and abused characters (generational trauma, abuse cycles, etc) who are infuriating for sureee, but eventually find their redemption point after much struggle and eventually getting the help they need. I know this isn't a story for everyone and I thank you for reading regardless.
