Last night did not go as I planned. I figured I would take Mia to see the club and curb her curiosity. I won't lie, seeing her in there dressed the way she was I wanted to fuck her more than ever, but the message I received forced my hand. I had to leave right away and handle some important business. I don't know if Mia believed me or not when I told her I had to go. I think she thought it was an excuse so I wouldn't have to bring her into the other rooms.
She'd been pretty quiet on the car ride home which forced my hand in me promising her that I would take her back to finish what we started. I don't know if that's a very good idea, seeing as when I saw her in that sheer black dress yesterday...which displayed her body perfectly, I almost lost my mind for real. I wanted to take her into some dark lit corner and do every nasty thing to her that I could think of.
Illusions has so many toys and props that could have been used on her. Fuck. She would be a vision. Everyone in that place would've wanted to view a piece of her. As it is, I get a lot of attention when I'm there. For two reasons. Because most people there know that I own the place, and second because people find me to be very attractive.
I was at the warehouse today checking up on my shipments since we had that incident with tampering in my last shipment. I was overseeing everything with Alessandro. Elio was on his way down from my office in the Velvet Lounge, where I had him doing some paperwork stuff for me. I actively had to avoid thinking about Mia in that dress or I wouldn't have gotten any work done today. "Yo" I heard my number three's voice coming from across the lot. I waved him over past all the moving crates he had to swerve between.
"All good?" I asked the first thing. He nodded and stuck a hand out to give me something. From what I could see of it it looked like a black envelope of some kind with a gold seal. "This stuck out amongst the mail in the office. I figured you might need it" Elio explained. I grabbed it and checked the seal. The initials MS were pressed into the wax. "What is it?" Alessandro was already leaning into me being nosey.
"How the fuck should I know? Have I opened it?" He put his hands up in surrender and took a step back. I picked at the seal to pop the black square envelope open.
My eyes darted around the page to read through it. I quickly realize who this was from and for what reason. When I looked up from the invitation Elio and my cousin were both just looking at me. "I'm invited to a birthday event." We stepped off to the side since we're all still in front of the warehouse truck port, and mostly in the way of the men I have working for me.
They're all sweaty and in slobbish clothes while us three are standing here in three piece suits. It's all about hierarchy though. It reminds the people who are on top and whose shoes you better not scuff. "Who?" Elio out beat Alessandro in asking. "An associate of mine, Russell Scott, it's his daughter's birthday. She's a socialite. You know the type" I waved it off. "Did you fuck her or something? Why'd you get the invite?" My cousin took a peek at the invitation card again. "I have fucked her, but that's hardly the point. Russell likes to kiss my ass. He knows my status. He wants part of it" I gave them the gist of it.
Some of these billionaire types seem bored with their lives and want a little excitement. They hear about a big bad mobster and they wanna do business with you. They want to feel a thrill. It's foolish and not something I would give into. I don't seek thrill in my business, I make good business choices. The lifestyle attached to that is just part of the package of organized crime. Still that doesn't stop old rich men from wanting to kiss my ass and be on my good side.
"Are you gonna go?" I snorted and tucked the invitation into my suit jacket pocket, "Probably not." Elio rubbed his chin in thought. "Whose the daughter? Why doesn't the name ring a bell?" He asked me. "Madison Scott. I'm not sure I would've introduced you. I know Russell through my father, and I don't really bring him around our business. I've kept in touch with him through those silly charities I'm forced to attend and stuff like that."
