POV EJ

I walk into the big building. Today is my first day. I'm kinda nervous but no one can see that! I try to look cool.

I think of Gina. Crap. I shouldn't think about her all the time. It's good that we broke up. She is happier now, and that's all I want. Ugh. Change the subject please.

Harvard. Yes. It's very big.

As I'm thinking I bump into a girl. "I'm so sorry," I state immediately. The girl smiles. "It's okay," she says. "I'm Claire," the girl says. I stare at her strawberry-blond hair.

"Is- Is there something-?" Claire asks and she puts her hand through her hair. "No- I- I'm sorry, it's my first day and with the first person I meet, I'm already blowing it," I state.

Claire chuckles. "It's okay, where are you off to?" she asks. "Uh, History," I say. Claire laughs again. "You are at the wrong side of the building, let me walk you to history," she says.

"Is this your second year?" I ask. "No, first-year," Claire states as we walk through the hallways. "How do you know all this then?" I ask.

"My parents both went to Harvard so they told me basically everything I can possibly know now," she explains. "Is that why you went to Harvard?" I ask and Claire nods.

"How about you? Why are you at Harvard?" she asks. "Well, uhm, I didn't get into Duke which is the school my parents went to," I start. "Oi," Claire chuckles.

"Yeah, well, I took a better look at the best schools and decided that this one is the best for me," I continue. Claire smiles. "Here is history," she says and she points at the hallway we're walking now.

"All of this is for history?!" I ask surprised. "Yeah, it's crazy but almost everyone at this school follows history," she explains.

"I've one question left," Claire says. "What is your name?" "I didn't tell you my name?" I ask. "I feel so stupid," I state. "Don't," Claire smiles. "I'm EJ."

"Nice to meet you EJ! See you around!" she states and she walks away.

POV Kourtney

"Big Red, can you come please?" I shout from my little office to the kitchen. A few seconds later, Big Red stands in front of me.

"Can you make sure that the guests all have a waitress because some are sick today?" I ask him. He nods and walks back to the kitchen. I look at my to-do list and check the last point. I'm done for today.

I feel two hands from behind me blinding my eyes. "Heey," Howie's voice says. "Guess who's taking you on a date?" he asks from behind me. I turn around. "Really?!" I ask and Howie nods.

I've never been on a real date. I hang out a lot but a real date? Never.

Howie takes my hand and walks out of Slices. "Where are we going?" I ask curiously. "I'm not gonna tell you, it's a surprise," Howie smiles.

I'm glad he didn't tell me cause I love surprises.

Howie turns into a building where I have never been before. He looks like he knows the way so I follow him with my hand still kept safe in his hands.

We're walking through a small café to the back of the building. Behind the bar is a huge bowling alley. My eyes widen.

"Are we?" I start my question. "Yes," Howie states. "We are bowling tonight," he says.

I quickly hug him and walk to our lane. The lights are changing every second to another color. First they're green, then blue, then red. It's beautiful.

I look at Howie who slyly smiles. "It's perfect," I state. I grab a bowling ball and walk to the lane. I throw it. 3 pins. Not very bad for the first throw.

Second time. 4 more pins, 7 in total. Howie claps proudly as he grabs his ball. He throws it and the ball rolls to the middle of the pins. It hits almost all of them. 9 pins.

"You thought you could win from me?" I ask laughing. I grab another ball and throw it.
