Conquering Tears

POV Gina

We're sitting in the waiting room, while the doctors are running in and out the room where Jack's laying. Next to me sits EJ, with his arms around his head. I can see that he's hurting.

I don't know whether I should be angry or not. I mean, I'm angry about what he did to Jack. But a part of me understands it.

It is probably not right to think this, but somewhere it is kinda sweet what he did. Not the almost murdering of my boyfriend. But he must've liked me so much that he would do whatever.

Including almost murdering my boyfriend.

"Uhm, Gina Porter," a blonde nurse calls into the waiting room. "Yes?" I react and I jump up. "You can come with me," she says.

I walk with her into Jack's room. The doctors have stopped panicking and running. Jack's lying peacefully in his hospital bed with light blue covers.

I smile when I see that he's okay. Or at least, sort of okay.

"He's still unconscious but he'll be fine," the nurse says. "Thank you," I state. I stay with Jack until, after a few minutes, the door opens.

EJ slowly walks in. "I know you must hate me, but I just have to know. Will he be okay?" he asks. I nod and I can see EJ sigh in relief.

"I'm so sorry, Gina," he starts after a few painful silent seconds.

"I was just living in a fantasy that we could still work and I lost it when I saw you being happy with Jack," he states. "I thought it could be like the old days in Salt Lake City," he says.

"We were the couple. Just like Ricky and Nini, and Carlos and Seb," he says.

Shit. Seb.

I wonder whether Ashlyn has also called EJ with the news. Did everyone forget to tell him?

"Do you know how they're doing?" EJ asks and he looks up into my eyes. "Have you not heard?" I ask him. EJ slowly shakes his head.

"EJ, Seb's dead."

EJ collapses, which is my answer that nobody told him. Tears form in EJ's eyes. He always had a thing with Seb. Nobody knew about it except for me. EJ felt like Seb was his little brother who he should look after.

By the sight of seeing EJ in tears, I tear up again, too.

I haven't given myself enough time to grief. I wanted to go on with my life but that's impossible. This is the first time when I could really take in what happened.

Seb's gone and he's not coming back.

POV Kourtney

It has been a while since I was in the theater room. We decided to rehearse today, though. For Seb.

I see Nini on her phone. She has been on her phone a lot lately. I think she's crushing on someone but I know she'll deny it when I ask her.

Ricky, Big Red and Ashlyn walk into the room. Ricky is also on his phone. That's probably normal these days. I mean, I also couldn't live one day without Sasha but my friends stay more important than my phone.

Carlos, dressed all black, walks into the room and tears up when he looks at the spot where Seb used to sit. I walk toward him and put my arm around him to encourage him to walk further.

Miss Jenn and her pet Mozzarella walk into the room after Carlos. Everyone knows that they're dating but they haven't confirmed it to us yet.

"Okay, people, today we're gonna rehearse a song which I think we all really need," Miss Jenn starts. "Waiting on a miracle."

Carlos nods and wipes his tears away at the sound of miracle.

"Speaking of a miracle," Mr Mazzarra starts. "Jennifer, my miracle," he says and Miss Jenn blushes.

"Will you, please, marry me?"

Everyone starts screaming and jumping. Miss Jenn starts crying of happiness. After three seconds, everyone gets quiet to hear her reaction.

"Yes!"

And everyone starts screaming and jumping again. Mr Mazzara pulls Miss Jenn into one long kiss.

"Yay! BennyJenny is finally really happening," I squeak. I may or may not have already made that shipname up the first time I met them both...

"God, I love you," Miss Jenn says. "But, we also really have to rehearse."

Everyone laughs and takes a seat again.

OMGGG guyssss this chapter generally made me happyyyy

So, I'm gonna keep it very short cuz next chapter is gonna be just- awesome!
