We all gathered at school, in our rehearsal classroom. I'm tightly holding Nini's hand. I never want to let it go. Never never again.

Kourtney stands next to Nini with Ashlyn on her other side. Ashlyn holds Big Red's hand. I'm so happy that they are together again. They just belong together.

EJ stands behind Gina with his arms around her. They've always been a cute couple but somehow they look even cuter now and usual. Seb and Carlos are next to each other. Not that everyone expects any different.

Carlos never leaves Seb's side. He never wants to lose him again. None of us want that. Seb told us that he gets multiple text messages a day from all of us with "just checking how you are".

Miss Jenn walks into the room with a letter in her hand. The letter in her hand. This is it. This is the moment where we have worked so hard for the last couple of months. Ever since Lily joined North High.

At the thought of Lily a thrill runs down my spine. I hate her. That is why I want us to win the Menkies. She can't win.

"Okay, guys, is everyone ready?" Miss Jenn asks. Slowly she opens the letter. Her hand shakes a bit. She might even be more scared than all of us together. Of course she would hate it if North High wins because of Jack.

Jack also can't win.

North High can't win.

"Dear East High," Miss Jenn starts. Her eyes move quickly over the paper. Suddenly her eyes open wide. Everyone is silent, waiting for Miss Jenn to say whether we won.

"Guys," she starts.

"We won."

It takes everyone a second to let it sink in before the celebration starts. I hope there was no class next to us taking a test because everyone would've failed the test. The amount of noise coming from our rooms was crazy.

We won!

I look around and see Gina jumping very high into the air. Ashlyn fell down onto her knees and crying tears of happiness. Big Red has his hand on Ashlyn's back to comfort her but at the same time he's also jumping.

We won!

Seb and Carlos are in a hug jumping together while holding each other. Miss Jenn is even jumping in her heels. I don't know how she does it but it looks quite elegant.

We won!

Kourtney and Nini both scream towards each other. Nini is still holding my hand. I've never been happier.

Everyone walks to the middle of the room and we have a minute in a group hug.

We took the chance we had and we did it! We won!
