Something was running on their mind.
Time flies.
It was another year inside the training center.
I wasn't wondering who it was because I was so sure that it was my husband.
Yup, Pau and I eventually decided to get married. It was a too private ceremony na pamilya lang niya, si Ate Demi at Kuya Dave lang ang imbitado. I want to keep it a secret pero nang dumating ang panahon na pinipilit na ako ni dad na magpakasal kay Adi, I ended up telling them the truth.
He was mad at first but of course, dahil nandyan na, wala na siyang nagawa.
"Aalis ka bukas?" Rianne asked while I am busy arranging my flowers. Paulo know that I don't really like roses so, he gave me a carnation and baby's breath instead.
Lumingon ako sa kanila ni Shana at saka tumango.
"I'm so jealous. I couldn't go because I've already used my cards for this month." Shana uttered and sighed.
Shana eventually found a new friend inside the training center. It was Rianne who's already my friend too. We've been hanging out a lot. Minsan dito pa siya natutulog. She's a good swimmer now. She has been bagging a lot of medals too. But behind those success are hardest decisions. She should've gone to medical school now but instead of studying, she decided to quit studying to continue doing swimming. Even though her family disowned her now, I never saw her sad. Maybe because she really loves what she's doing.
Everytime I got to see her, I always tend to realize that sometimes, doing what makes you happy is what matters the most. Just like my decision to get married. I never regretted it because it was the bestest decision that I have made in my life. I was happy then. Now that it's been two years, it never lessens. It just growing stronger every day.
"Happy anniversary!" Pau exclaimed after removing his hand on my eyes. After adjusting my vision, a field of flowers welcomed me. I smiled before turning my gaze to Pau behind me. He smiled back before giving me a peck on my lips. "I love you."
Niyakap ko siya nang mahigpit. I started tearing up behind his chest.
This guy is worth fighting for.
"You shouldn't have burned your money for this."
"There's nothing wrong spoiling my wife." He cooly uttered and called for a waiter. Sandali akong natigilan. I couldn't be used calling myself "his wife."
"Love." He called.
The sun is already setting that's why sunflowers look really good with the orange rays. "Picture tayo!" I exclaimed and pulled Paulo with me.
