Joerrelle Martin, gone missing on Ken's wedding.

I sighed as I stared at the title of article. Nagdadalawang-isip ako kung papayag akong i-publish 'to kanina. He was supposedly enjoying his day. This is supposedly his day.

When I turned my gaze to him, he was smiling at me, saying it'll be alright.

Just like that, things spread like a wildfire. Rescue teamed up. Media fueled. Things have gone faster.

Staring at the signage above... wearing a tattered gown with a lot of filth... I saw my Joerrelle...

"Joy!" I called. I was so relieved.

My face turned to horror as she passed out right in my arms.

"She was indeed incredible, nagawa pa niyang mag-opera habang nasa ganyang kalagayan." Dinig kong saad ng isang doctor mula sa likuran ko while other doctors were tending Joy. They put an IV line and put several tests na hindi ko maintindihan.

Everyone turned their gazes. It was David on his specs running like he was chasing after his life. When he saw me, kaagad na nagliwanag ang mga mata niya na kaagad ding naglaho matapos makita ang kapatid na nakaratay sa hospital bed.

"What—"

"Sir, sino po ang kamag-anak ng pasyente?" Tawag ng isang nurse. I was about to step forward when David already did. "Sign po para sa operation."  I was left there when they were transfering her to the operating room. I followed as they rushed.

"Sir, dito na lang po kayo!" The nurses warned as they close the doors in front of me. I was too emerged with the thought of her.

I sighed as I stared at the red colored sign from above. Parang kanina lang siya ang nakatingin dito. Ngayon... ako naman.

"She's great... as a doctor and as a person, 'no?" A voice said from behind. It was David who sat on the waiting area. "She didn't even notice that she has her own wound because she's busy tending others."

Iba muna bago sarili.

Reason why she left me. She's always been like that.

Silence enveloped the area as I left that conversation hanging on that part. I was emerged with the thought that she was there... in a critical condition.

It took several minutes. Until that minutes became hour... and that hour become two... three... until I couldn't count anymore.

"We successfully removed the bullet on the patient's body."
