Damian had always liked to patrol for a long time. It helped him get away from the problems he had that couldn't be dealt with by kicking someone's face and maintained his skills. As much as he wanted to punch Grayson over and over, he was never allowed and stopped when Damian decided to become better.

Raven often made the problems go away too, his girlfriend had become quite skilled at helping him meditate and overcome difficulties in other ways too 😉.

As Damian jumped across another rooftop he pondered about Raven. He felt he could never repay her for all the good she's done for him. The one thing he always hoped for was that he was making her happy. Raven would of course tell him she was, but Damian always wanted to do more.

His thoughts were disrupted, however, when he stopped a red light emerge from an alleyway. If it was a meta causing trouble then Damian would likely struggle for a while. He always did enjoy difficult tasks though.

Damian jumped down and spotted a cloaked man in black. The man looked at Damian fiercely as his eyes glowed red. Damian became perplexed, dizzy. He felt angry, more than usual. It was like he wanted to punch everyone and everything.

Before he knew it the man was gone. Damian punched the wall with all of his ferocity and nearly broke his hand. Damian didn't care, he merely began to return to the tower.

When he returned he took off his Robin uniform and changed into his sleepwear before going to the med bay and grabbing some bandages for his hand. The blood was getting all over his floor, but he didn't care. He just wished he could catch that guy.

"Dami?" He heard Raven say from the door. He turned around to look at her in anger.

"What?!" Damian shouted.

Raven was taken aback. Damian never talked to her like that. Sure he was angry a lot, but even that was extreme.

"Are you alright?" Raven asked calmly. She had to work out if he was seriously pissed or if something had happened on patrol.

He had come back from patrol once before behaving like a lunatic. Raven remembered laughing at that because it was the closest she saw to Damian being drunk.

"Why do you care?" Damian asked coldly.

"You know why. I'm your girlfriend, I'm always gonna worry about you." Raven told him, her patience was wearing thin. She had to keep a cool head though.

"Well if I'm just a burden, maybe we should rethink things, Raven!" Damian said. He had dark eyes and looked at Raven coldly.

Raven was shocked. But, now she knew. Something was wrong; Damian would never say that. He would never let his negative emotions come between them, no matter how angry he was.

"You don't mean that. I know you don't. Get over here now." Raven ordered. She walked towards him with determination. Damian just seemed to back off.

"I told you, it's over!" Damian snapped. Raven just ignored him and pushed him to the wall whilst her hands encased his head as her magic flowed into him.

"It's never over. That's what we promised, remember." Raven saw Damian's eyes glow red and return to green for a second. Whatever was going on was being fixed. As a last resort, Raven approached him further and embraced his lips with hers in a warm and deep kiss.

Damian closed his eyes in peace. His senses returned and he wrapped Raven in his arms, slightly afraid she'd reprimand him for what he said, or worse.

He opened his eyes and saw Raven smiling at him. She clearly knew whatever happened to him had been undone and Damian returned the smile.

"There's my Dami." Raven said lovingly. Damian chuckled and held her in a warm embrace.

"I'm sorry about what I said." Damian said quietly. Raven's smile widened before she replied.

"Oh you should be. Honestly, if something wasn't wrong and you meant it I would've blown up your room with us in it." Raven said dramatically. Damian clearly looked threatened. Even if she was joking she could still be terrifying.

"Yeah, I really am. You know me. Like you said, I would never mean that. It really is never over." Damian said. Raven just smiled and laughed before telling him he still cliché. Damian got her back by saying that a kiss to bring someone back to their senses was just as clichés, which the both laughed at.

Raven treated Damian's hand injury and climbed into bed with him, snuggling up to her boyfriend. He embraced her in his arms and lovingly stroked her back whilst he placed little kissed on her head.

"I love you, Raven."

"I love you too, Dami. Don't you ever say anything that bad again though." Raven told him both lovingly and strictly.

"I won't. In fact, wanna help me bring this guy in?" Damian asked amusingly and seriously at the same time.

"Oh hell yeah! Imma murder this prick!" Raven said excitedly as Damian laughed.

They quickly passed out in each other's arms and Raven dreamed of kicking that guy's ass for what he did to Damian.

She got her wish.
