Defend

"Break it off, Damian! That's an order!"

"Never! I won't do it!"

Damian had been bickering with his father for almost an hour now. They definitely knew how to make a hell of an argument.

Batman was worried. Worried about his son, about the fact he was dating Raven.

She was a demon and they knew very little about her. Batman was basing all his points off the back of that. Still, Damian defended her, defended their relationship.

Of course Batman was just worrying about the dangers of dating someone like her.

"You don't know her, Father! You don't know what she's been through. She has suffered and suffered and all I want to do is make her happy. I love her and you can't accept that. What should I think from you though, the man who can't keep a relationship he cares about for five minutes." Damian ranted. He was hitting Batman pretty low with that one.

It was true, Batman had been on and off in several relationships in the last two months.

Damian, on the other hand, had been dating Raven for two years and was now engaged to her. She hadn't ever really met Batman and that was a good thing.

As Damian returned home, after he left Batman with a severe ego and confidence injury, he saw Raven was just about to enter the house herself. She looked at him and smiled which he returned.

"How'd it go?" Raven asked with no confidence. She knew what was going on.

"Not good. I don't care tho." Damian said.

Raven kissed him before she entered herself into Damian's arms. "Thank you for defending me. I love you." Raven said happily. She knew what Batman's reaction would be and she honestly couldn't care less.

"I love you too."
