Mans worst nightmare

Damian awoke one day to a sleeping Raven. Not unusual; he had been dating her for over a year and they often shared a bed in the tower. What was confusing was why she was asleep. They usually woke up at the same time. It was more like their bodies alarms went off at the same time.

Damian looked over to his girlfriend and wanted to check to see if anything was wrong but, she was sound asleep. Until she groaned in pain. Damian went into panic and tried to wake her up gently. He was successful but it wasn't what he expected.

"Ugh what?!" Raven exclaimed angrily.

"I... just wanted to see if you are ok. You looked like you're in pain." Damian explained.

"Well done. You'll be the worlds greatest detective after your father for sure then."

"Raven?"

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Raven asked. She began sniffling and it looked as if she was about to cry. Damian was perplexed. Even one minute of her being awake was confusing her.

"Like what?"

"It's because I'm ugly isn't it?!"

Damian was lost. This made absolutely no sense. She was fine yesterday and now she's angry then crying. Safe to say he wanted to figure this out as soon as possible.

"Beloved, you're not ugly. I've told you many times that you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. No one can compare."

Raven was still sniffling and she actually began to cry more. She jumped towards Damian and wrapped her arms around his neck. Damian didn't know what to do so he just stroked her back and kissed her cheek.

"Don't leave me. Please don't leave me." Raven was begging at this point but she was becoming quieter and that was maybe a good thing. Damian didn't know what was good right now. He just laid there and hugged her. It was probably the best thing for him to do right now.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm not going to leave you. Never." Damian said sincerely. They had already had this conversation about staying together forever. Not something ordinary people did but, they weren't ordinary and love for them was more important to them than it was to other people.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Dami?"

"Mmm?"

"Can you please get me some breakfast? Im hungry." Raven asked as if she was a child. She looked at him pleadingly. It's like she thought he'd say no. Although he did go on to understand what was going on.

"Yeah, come on. Let's go down and have some."

"Uh no. I mean, can you bring me some here please?"

"Sure... you don't wanna go downstairs?" Damian asked. Still confused.

"I don't feel like going anywhere."

"Ok. Are you feeling ok? You're not sick are you?" Damian asked worriedly. She just shook her head and looked down in guilt. Damian just decided to go and sort her some breakfast out.

He decided to make her some eggs toast. She usually likes that when she wasn't feeling great. He bumped into Kori who was interested by the fact that Damian was down in the kitchen making breakfast for Raven. She thought it was nice. Remembered Dick doing the same for her more than once.

"Morning, Damian." Kori said pleasantly.

"Morning." Damian said in his usual Damian Wayne manner.

"Where's Raven?"

"In bed. Asked for some breakfast."

"I see. Is she feeling alright?" Kori said suspecting what was going on already.

"I don't know. She was angry when she woke up. Then she started crying and after that, she just hugged me and said not to leave her. Until she asked for breakfast." Damian explained. He figured that Kori might understand. Perhaps it was something she to Raven's genetics and maybe Kori had a similar thing being an alien.

Kori looked wide eyed and also looked as if she could laugh. "Ah, I see. Well in that case. I can tell you she's more or less fine."

"What do you mean?"

"She's on her period, Damian."

Damian too went wide eyed. He hadn't considered that. She was a girl after all, it made sense.

After a brief conversation with Kori about what Raven probably needed and what he should do, he went back to Raven who was still laying in bed. He approached her and asked her about her bleeding. She stated she used her powers to sort that out but it was the hormones that she couldn't deal with.

Damian served her breakfast and he saw that Raven had never looked more like a child. Not that he minded; it was cute.

After a while Raven asked Damian to lay with her again. Well... more on her. She asked for him to lay on her and rub her abdomen. Damian wasn't gonna argue, he found her toned abdomen to be one of her attractive features. He rested his head on her chest and Raven began to stroke his hair lovingly.

"Sorry to make you do all this." Raven said with guilt.

"Don't be. I don't mind, I just want you to be alright." Damian replied as he kissed her chest. It turned Raven on a bit when he did that and she tried not to get excited, not until after her period was over.

"Thank you. I love you."

"I love you too, Habibti."

Damian ended up staying like that for most of the day. He didn't mind and neither did Raven. He was ok with all this. She couldn't help it. It was natural and Raven was very cute like this.

It just so happened that Damian Wayne could handle mans worst nightmare: women on their period.
