MORNING CAME in a rush. Robin and Steve were messily running to get to work (well, Steve was running back home to change his clothes and take a shower). Robin took a quick shower and together with Sam they went out. Sam decided to take a walk up to Fimily Video and then go to the Wheelers to change her own clothes and take a shower of her own.

"You know, it feels weird being back in Hawkins." Sam said, watching the people roam around the streets.

"Why weird?"

"For one, everyone seems to be getting on with their lives like..." Sam's voice died a bit, observing the people around. "It's like nothing ever happened. And yes sure, everything that happened is only for us because we know the truth but they... they live with no care of the world."

"It seems like you want to be like them, Sam." Robin mumbled.

"What?" Asked Sam, turning to look at Robin.

"It seems like you want to live with no care of the world, no memories of what happened." Robin cleared up, a soft smile on her face. "Sorta delete the trauma."

Sam walked in silence, Robin's words stuck in her head. True. She did want to erase her memories, she did want to live without knowing any of what she knew these past three or so years but at the same time, she didn't want that. She didn't want to forget meeting Eleven, becoming friends with the group and building that strong bond with her dad.

"Maybe- oh, that's your work place." Sam pointed at Family Video. "Good luck, I'll go home and take a shower."

"Luck is all I need. A hopeless romantic like me." Robin hummed. "Honestly why me and Steve? I mean, we both are terrible with love. He gets so many girls and doesn't stay with any, I get zero girls like?"

"I'm a hopeless romantic too, Robin." Sam laughed, tilting her head to the side.

"Ah yeah, the loser trio." Robin joked, laughing as well.

"Nancy is at work but I'm sure she'll be back soon." Mrs. Wheeler said with a smile.

"Oh no problem, I'll just take a quick shower and walk around town after." Sam replied, mirroring the smile.

"Okay, have fun!" Mrs. Wheeler replied.

"Thank you," Sam said.

From behind Nancy's mother came a strong smell of tasty food and Sam knew dinner would be amazing. Mrs. Wheeler was an amazing cook and an amazing mother so she couldn't wait for dinner. Mr. Wheeler said his hello too from the livingroom when Sam passed by him. Once inside Nancy's room, she took out clothes from her suitcase and went inside the bathroom. She took off her clothes and put them in the washing machine that Mrs. Wheeler mentioned she'll turn on tonight. When she was done, she got in the shower and turned on the warm water.

Taking showers was always the most relaxing thing Sam enjoyed to do until a year ago. Now, all the quietness and relaxation was filled with a fight between emotions and lately, as of two day ago, filled with constant headaches. Even out of showers. The headaches are mostly unbearable and Sam found herself crying from pain.

Beside headaches, when Sam closed her eyes to rinse the shampoo, flashbacks of her father and the horrors of the previous years just swam in front of her. For a long time, she blamed herself for her father's death. Before Jim went down the elevator and they got stuck in that stupid mall, Sam saw how troubled Jim was. He was still blaming himself for Sara's death, he was still struggling and even though he kept telling himself that he's there because Eleven, Joyce and Sam needed him, Sam knew he was there with them because he was the one that needed them.
