THE MORNING SUN hid behind clouds as the group walked down the forest with bags of food in their hands. Today was a bit chilly so Sam put on her long sleeved shirt that was oversized once again and with the band Queen over it. She wore wide denim jeans that weren't ripped because holy shit, she didn't wanna freeze. Lastly, she had put on her thicker zipper hoodie that was black and definitely was Jonathan's so if he found out that she took it to Hawkins- well, okay he won't do anything, he loved Sam too much for that.

"So um, before we go in, what was that yesterday?" Robin asked, looking at Sam with a raised eyebrow.

Sam turned to look at her. "What?" She asked, genuinely confused.

"Umm, dude? The way Eddie let you hold his hand?" Robin said, a duh tone in her voice.

"So? He was shaking and he was scared." Sam tried to reason out.

"Sure, he declined Dustin immediately though." Robin added. "I mean, something's fishy."

"Yeah, Steve's new perfume!" Sam commented a bit loudly.

"I heard that!" Steve shouted from up front.

"Good! Change it!" Sam shot back.

"Asshole!"

"Douchebag!"

"Idiot!"

"Double idiot!"

"Will you two shut up?!" Max shouted.

Sam and Steve huffed but didn't argue anymore.

Last night, after Eddie and the group talked, they decided to keep Eddie in that small house while the police was looking for him. They told him to not go to the other house for a day just in case and that they would bring food for him today and so here they were, bringing food to Eddie. Steve parked the car a bit further away to not raise any suspicion even though the forest around was dead silent and barely anyone ever came here. Better safe than sorry.

Dustin turned the handle of the door and swung it open only to scare Eddie shitless.

"Jesus chr-"

"Delivery service!" Dustin said, interrupting Eddie and shaking the bags in his hands with a smile.

Eddie sighed and relaxed. Robin sent him a weird smile because that girl can't be not awkward for the life of her and Steve waved. Sam shook her head and said a small hi at the boy near the window. Soon enough, they placed the food on the table and Eddie was digging in like he hasn't eaten in ages.

"So we got, uh, some good news and some bad news." Dustin said as soon as they got comfortable. "How do you prefer?"

"Bad news first, always." Eddie replied, currently eating cereal from Honeycumb brand.

"All right. Bad news." Dustin said. "We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Corebro, and they're definitely looking for you." The small relaxed smile Eddie had suddenly fell, his mouth hung a bit open and he looked down at the ground. "Also, they're, uh, pretty convinced you killed Chrissy."

"Like, a 100% kinda convinced." Added Max.

"Way to break bad news." Sam deadpanned.

"What? He asked for them!" Dustin defended himself.

"And the good news?" Eddie hopefully asked.

"Your name hasn't gone public yet." Robin said. "But if we found out about you, it's only a matter of time before others do. And once that gets out, everyone and their shallow-minded mother is gonna be gunning for you."
