ONCE DONE with the food, Sam was on her feet again, putting her shoes on and getting ready to leave.

"You sure you don't want me to come with you?" Asked Steve for the third time.

"No, it's fine." Replied Sam. "I want to drive around for a bit, too."

"Okay, I'll come visit in the morning then." Steve nodded, giving her his car keys.

Sam thanked him and give him a quick hug before she was out of the door, closing it behind herself. In one hand she held Eddie's Hellfire shirt that technically was still wet but oh well. In her other hand she held the keys to Steve's car. At first, he had offered to drive her back but Sam needed time alone so he gave her the keys and told her that she can take his car. Sam was hesitant at first but he told her that Nancy will pick him up when he needs to go out so Sam finally accepted.

She placed the shirt on the passenger seat and put her seatbelt on, starting the car and driving off.

At first, she didn't have a specific location except the hospital but she didn't want to go there just yet so she decided to drive around. As soon as she made it downtown though, she was shocked upon the sight. The earthquake had destroyed most of the streets and Sam was forced to drive around them, noticing how all four cracks connected to the library. Wasn't that where Joyce and her father found Will in the Upside Down? Weird, thought Sam.

Sam drove past the destroyed houses, her heart clenching upon seeing the mess Vecna had caused. She drove past the high-school and for a second, she let herself remember all the good memories made in there before driving further away from downtown.

Blankly so, she found herself nearing the trailer park.

For a second, she wondered why had her subconscious mind let her go there but as soon as she entered the park, trying to ignore the enormous crack that went off in the other direction, Sam stopped wondering. She had parked right in front of Eddie's destroyed trailer.

Sitting there in Steve's car, Sam observed the trailer. The better part of it was destroyed, broken in pieces and separated in two. But the end part, where Eddie's room was located seemed less damaged and Sam knew what she had to do as she got out of the car, closing the door and making her way towards the trailer. The night air was fresh and warm but still a bit breezy as wind passed by her and she crossed her arms.

As soon as she halted in front of the crack, it was obvious enough that the entering to the trailer would be tricky seeing as how the crack of the earthquake had made the ground uneven and risky. Sam sighed and began to slowly climb her way inside the trailer, trying to avoid anything that could make her slip and fall.

Once inside the less damaged hall, Sam fast walked inside Eddie's room, observing the damage and deciding which of Eddie's belongings were less ruined. She didn't waste her time to take a moment and think, to take a moment and remember what happened lastly here, how his room looked in the Upside Down or where his guitar stood before she found a big bag and began to fill it with Eddie's stuff. It was a quick decision, wanting to take everything that wasn't too damaged back to Eddie and his uncle, knowing that Eddie would miss most of those things.

She found music tapes that weren't damaged and luckily there was at least one tape from every band Eddie listens to. She then found clothes and stuffed them all inside the bag, happy that there were two more Hellfire Club shirts so Eddie won't have to wear the ruined one. Sam also packed some of the decorations, objects and random belongings of Eddie, making sure to take few of the posters so that Eddie won't have to search in stores for new ones. She took jewelry, black nail polish and some jewelry Eddie used for his clothes like the many chains.
