☆ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 35

                  SAM BRUSHED her hair with a white towel, drying it bit by bit before letting her hair dry naturally. In the meantime, she began to get dressed, leaving the jewelery for last.

She decided on wearing baggy black ripped jeans with a grey tank top that was a tiny bit oversized and had Guns N' Rose written over it. On her feet she put some black combat boots and began to put on her jewelery. Since she loved having many rings on her fingers, she put a ring on each finger except the thumb on her right hand and the pinky on her left hand. Her rings were full of skulls, weird looking figures and skeletons. On her left hand she had two rings that were connected with a metal chain and on her right she had a snake ring.

Her left thumb was with Eddie's skull ring, the one he had given her.

Speaking of Eddie, the boy was let out of the hospital a week after his waking up. In the meantime of that week, the kids along with Nancy, Robin and Steve kept visiting him and entertaining him. Eddie even managed to get up with the help of Steve and Sam and visit Max. He seemed to really like her, he kept asking about her and Max kept asking about him as well. Max would be let out of the hospital in a month due to her being unable to move but tomorrow, on a special occasion, she would be let out for a full day.

That's for tomorrow though, but for today? For today Sam and Eddie will have a full day just for themselves.

A date.

Sam smiled at that, giggling as she put on her chain necklace with a guitar dangling, oddly realising she will match Eddie's bracelet that she gave him if Eddie wears it.

During the week spent in the hospital, Eddie and Sam didn't exactly have time to spend it together. There was always someone visiting, always someone needing to talk to Eddie and it was sweet, of course, Sam loved the fact that everyone enjoyed Eddie's company but God, was it tiring. It was so tiring and frustrating because Sam couldn't even cuddle him without being interrupted by God knows who.

So, now that Eddie was out, he had asked Sam out on a date.

The date they were supposed to have.

Sam finished up with the necklace and quickly put on her skeleton earrings before rushing to get her acoustic guitar in its case.

To be fair, Eddie didn't tell her shit about the date. She didn't know where they were going, what he had planned or why did he even ask Sam to bring her acoustic guitar. He said Sam should wait and see and Sam even asked Robin, Nancy and Steve about what Eddie had planned but they kept their mouths shut. Jonathan even knew since Eddie and him became extra close after the injured boy woke up.

Sam and Eddie weren't that much of romantic types, they both enjoyed simple things, simple gatherings and so on. And even if their date was romantic, none would mind it. But Sam knew it would be pretty cool and sweet. The whole date, that is. She knew whatever Eddie had planned would be relaxing, sweet and maybe they would even joke a lot.

Oh, and, during the week Sam found three other bands that became her new favorites. One of them being, of course, Metallica. The other two being Bon Jovi which was a pretty cool rock band and lastly, Guns N' Roses. Even though she knew about all those from earlier, she didn't really want to get into more bands until now. She, of course, listened to many rock and metal bands, loved their songs and all that. But when it came to favorites, Sam usually chose the bands that made her feel the most alive and the most relatable to the lyrics of their songs.

"Your Knight on a dirty van is here!" Jonathan called out, sending Sam in a jumping surprise.
