THEY ALL gathered in the centre of a room, looking up at the ceiling where a chandelier full of spiderwebs and dust had been lit up by itself.

"It's like the Christmas lights." Commented Nancy as the lights flickered above them.

"The Christmas lights?" Asked Robin confusedly.

"Yeah, when Will was in the Upside Down, the lights... came to life." Sam replied.

"Vecna's here." Lucas stated. "In this house. Just on the other side."

The lights slowly dimmed until it was darkness that surrounded them once again. Sam looked around, trying to spot any other lamp being lit but nothing, it was just them and the darkness.

"I think he just left the room." Robin mumbled.

"Did he hear us?" Asked Max with worry.

"Can he see us?" Asked Steve, looking at Max.

"Headphones." Lucas warned Max and the girl immediately put her headphones on, her favorite song softly humming from them.

"Wait, wait!" Nancy whisper-shouted. "Everyone, turn off your flashlights and spread out." With that, she turned off her flashlight and walked few feet away.

"We're not gonna be able to see if we turn off our flash... lights." Complained Steve but once he realised no one was listening, he sighed.

"Turn off your flashlight, Steve." Sam told him.

"Jesus Christ." Groaned Steve.

The group turned off their flashlights together, each one of them moving to a different section on the first floor. Sam kept looking around as a cold breeze passed by her. She gulped and put her hands over her chest, worried that she might get a vision at any time. She debated on putting on her headphones too but then again, the second vision wouldn't come this soon, right? Max got her second vision somewhere after a day so Sam had more time.

Plus, running with headphones was hell and if she needed to run, she'd rather not wear headphones. And also, the group knew she had cassettes and headphones in her backpack so she wasn't worried about that.

"I got him!" Shouted Robin from somewhere around the hall. "Got him!"

Sam rushed towards her voice, meeting up with Dustin in the process until the two found the rest standing around Robin that had her hand up high. She was holding her flashlight with that hand and the said flashlight was shining brightly.

"I got him-" but Robin stopped abruptly as the flashlight went dead again. "I- I had him."

The next second, Steve's flashlight lit up.

"Oh, woah!" Steve commented, looking down at his flashlight. "Oh, I think he's moving." Steve said, beginning to walk towards where he thought the light of the flashlight would go. "He's moving. He's moving!"

The group followed behind Steve as he led them up the stairs, past rooms Sam, Robin and Nancy investigated until Steve stopped walking and the flashlight went dead just like it did to Robin.

"Shit." Cursed Steve. "I lost him."

"No, you didn't." Max mumbled, walking towards a door that was slightly open and pushing the said door to reveal light coming from a crowded flight of stairs.

One by one, the group peeked up at the stairs that were in a whirling line.

"It's an attic. Of course it's an attic." Robin mumbled.
