CONVERSATION

Date to Marry

The night is getting old, Tzuyu and Sana are already finished their dinner and just having a conversation in the living room. They finished the other bottle of wine and open another.

"You can open a restaurant, Tzu. Your cooking skills is a world-class, actually, the food is so good I must say"

Both of them are sitting on the large couch comfortably with glasses of wine in their hands and gulping during their conversation.

"I don't think Dad will like that"

"Hm. I just noticed, Mr. Chou was so focused on you, why is that?"

Tzuyu put down the glass on the table and brushed his hair up with his fingers, showing his attractive side view to Sana. Sana just gulped.

"Besides, he called me troublemaker and try to discipline me, he want me to manage his business soon. Well, that explains why I got the degree in business." Tzuyu chuckles. "My sister. Jihyo. She's a doctor too, the same year as you. Dad's first choice, but she chose to be a Doctor, so Dad supported her studies abroad." He paused and let out a sigh. "We are so close before, like real tight close, but suddenly it changed. When our family is ruined, she's nowhere to be found... I need her at that time but she didn't respond to my calls. I was so down, Chaeng, Dahyun and Mina are the only people I could run to."

Tzuyu can feel Sana scooted over and rubbing his back. "I'm sorry Sana. I just can't help..." he sobs.

"No it's okay, I understand you. You can tell me everything, Tzu." She said.

Sana lift his head by his chin and made him look at her. She wipe his tears with her thumb and said, "From now on, you will not be alone. I'm here. I will be here with you, Tzu"

Tzuyu leans to the back rest and then Sana lean to his shoulder while caressing his arm. Several minutes of silence engulfed them, a comfortable one. Tzuyu wrapped his arm around Sana's shoulder and pull it to him. Sana felt secured in his arm so does Tzuyu every time Sana showed affection to him, a safe haven.

"Sana, can I ask you something?" Tzuyu breaks the silence.

"Hmm. Anything Tzu" she replied.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked nonchalantly.

Sana lean away and was surprised. Tzuyu smiled plainly and with eyes full of sincerity, he hold her hand and kiss the back of it.

"After that night when we had our conversation at the riverside, I was lying on the bed to sleep, I can't stop thinking about you, you caught me off guard, Sana... so when you distance yourself from me, I think my world falls apart, I miss you so much." he paused and then cupped Sana's cheek. "I fell in love with you, unexpectedly"

Tzuyu get off his hand from her cheeks and lean back again, "first, I was scared to, I'm afraid that I have feelings for you, then you showed me the reason to fight. I'm risking. I have to take a risk. I don't want to lose this chance, not anymore... please give me a chance to be your boyfriend, I'll do anything just to make you happy"

Sana smiled after Tzuyu was finally done with his confession. Sana leans close and put her hand on his chest. "Are you done with your cheesy essay?" She said in a low tone. Tzuyu nodded.

"You talk too much. All I want is just a simple 'I love you' so can I respond "I love you too"

Sana lean closer and brushed her lips gently on Tzuyu and break off, "I love you too, Tzu, and I would be glad if you will call me your girlfriend"
