Who only gave me a ring
To ease my anxiety
So i stop fighting with him?

That treats me so terribly
Just to turn around and yell at me
For matching his own energy?

That calls me a whore
Insults me for my history
Says my body is for the public eye
But then obsesses over other women
Revealing much more than me?

That feels trapped and stripped of his worth
All because i stand up for myself
And ask for the things i need?

When the man who put it there
