The last time you spent the night
I'd remade the bed for you
Nice clean sheets and blankets
I wanted them to smell like you
For the night after
You would be gone forever
I folded the old sheets
Left them on the shelf
I didn't want to wash them
The smell of you too strong
I wanted to save it
They still sit there untouched
And I've just found myself
Burying my face in them
