broken

i am falling apart
i thought i'd be fine
but i am falling apart
tearing at the seams
leaning over the edge
walls are closing in
doors are locked
my life vanished
air ripped from my lungs
silent screams nobody can see
my heart collides with the floor
it's already broken
but the pieces shatter
everywhere
