You had it for years
I wore it the first night
That i slept in your bed
And you let me keep it
It became my favorite shirt
I wore it all the time
But that was when it started
And when things got bad
When i was afraid of you leaving
I took this shirt from your drawer
And hid it away in mine
So you wouldn't take it
When you left
I forgot about it
Until yesterday
So i took it out
Wore it to bed last night
I'll wear it again tonight
Maybe every night
So i can make believe
It's just like the first night
