I charge my phone at night
And i plug yours in
Before i leave every morning
You fell asleep on the couch
Woke in my bed
Phone nowhere to be found
While you were sleeping sound
I searched everywhere
Took off the pillows
Stripped the blankets
Tossed the cushions
Checked inside and out
Over under and around
I can't help but believe
You've hidden it on purpose
When you found it yourself
Within seconds after you wake
Say it slipped between the cracks
How can anything be your fault
If it was right there
And my eyes 'just didn't see'
