His side.

I was busy reading and signing the papers that were on top of my office table when suddenly my personal phone rang, my eyebrows met when i saw who was calling.

I lazily answered the call. "What do you need?" Iritado kong bungad sa gagong nasa kabilang linya.

I heard his annoying laugh.

"I miss you too dude" He responded in a silly tone.

Umigting ang aking panga at gusto ko na siyang pagbabaan ng telepono.

"If you have nothing sensible to say i will drop this call, I still have a lot of work to do if you don't know that, I don't waste my time with assholes like you" I said rudely to him.

Pasalamat nalang ang gagong ito maganda ang mood ko ngayon.

He laughed annoyingly. "Woah! May milagro ba? Ang haba na ng sinasabi m--"

I quickly hung up the phone not wanting to hear the useless things he had to say but just a few seconds later that moron called again!

I gritted my teeth, if he was just here in front of me now i might have choked him with my irritation.

"What exactly do you need you fucking bastard?! Stop pestering me!" I shouted at him angrily but the idiot just laughed again!

"Chill dude! Masyado kang hot.. tumawag ako para sabihin sa iyo na ikaw nalang muna ang dumalo para sa event ng university"

My forehead furrowed at what i heard, I knew what he was referring to and now i just remembered about it.

"Why me?" I asked lazily, pumalatak siya sa kabilang linya.

"Malamang ikaw lang ang nandiyan sa pilipinas ngayon wala kaming sariling pakpak para agarang lumipad pabalik diyan" He said while laughing.

Oh fuck him! Napahawak ako sa tungki ng aking ilong sa subrang pagkainis.

"I can't go there, I still have a lot of work to do" Pagdadahilan ko na totoo naman.

I also really don't want to go there, I don't like to attend such events even though i was studying there before.

I heard him complain on the other line.

"Come on dude! Hindi naman iiyak 'yang mga papeles mo, ngayon ka lang naman mag guest speaker doon at isa pa hindi ka naman magtatagal doon, Ikaw lang ang nandiyan ngayon kaya ik--" I didn't finish what he was saying and i immediately dropped the call.

I didn't want to waste my time listening to his long litany, I also turned off my cellphone so that that asshole could no longer call.

I picked up my car key first before i got up and left my office.

I immediately went down to the parking lot after i left reminders with my secretary and i also left immediately after that to go to the university where my friends and i studied in college.

I heard various whispers from the students here that i did not pay attention to and immediately went to where the event would be held.

Wilder should be here now because he is the only one who diligently attends such gatherings but since he is not here in the country now, i have no choice but to attend as his replacement.

"Please let us welcome our guest speaker to this important event none other than Mr. Dandrix Nixon Hutton!" I was in the backstage when my name was called.

I fixed the button down shirt i was wearing first before i went out and showed up to all the students who were here, I was greeted by loud applause and screams coming from the students who were mostly women, My face remained serious, I'm not showing any reaction to everyone here.
