"Beep! Beep! Beep!" I groaned and rolled over, my hand wacking the alarm clock wildly in attempt to turn it off. I heard Percy get up and turn the shower on. Grudgingly, I glanced at the time: 1:36 a.m. That's right. The shower turned off and I heard Percy get dressed and brush his teeth and hair. Then he came beside me and sat on the bed.

"Annabeth," he whispered siftly, "we have to get up. Out flight to Hawaii leaves in three hours." Oh, right! I had completely forgotten. I grumpily got up and rubbed the sleep out if my eyes.

"I'll get the kids, honey. You get ready." Another reason to love Percy.

"Okay," I smiled. Percy got up to go, then walked back towards me. I stood up in my PJs, Percy in a black tee and jeans, and we kissed. It was a long, beautiful, magical kiss. I went from being halfway awake to in a dreamlike state. Finally, we pulled away and parted our ways. I turned on the shower and undressed quickly. The warm shower woke me up and felt good on my cold body. Then I put on jeans, black flats, and a reddish-black shirt. When I opened my door, I saw Percy downstairs making breakfast, all three kids in their seats.

Rion and Selena had just turned one a week ago, and Sophia had thrown a big party for them.

I descended the stairs, where Sophia jumped up to show me how dark it was outside, but we were up.

"Look, mommy!!!" Sophia exclaimed, pointing to the window.

--2:45 A.M.--

As we drove in the car, all three kids fell asleep. The long plane ride to San Francisco was long enough, but with the extra 5-6 hours to Hawaii, it would be one heck of a day.

--3:17 A.M.--

"Next!" The security woman called. Sophia walked through, then Percy and Rion, then Selena and me. Selena was half asleep the entire time which was nice for me. We got our shoes back on and headed towards our gate sleepily and slowly.

--4:30 A.M.--

"Welcome Aboard! My name is Nancy and I will be your flight attendant this morning. A few reminders before we take off. Please stay seated at all times with your seat belt fastened while the plane is in motion. It is currently 1:30 A.M. in San Francisco if you'd like yo change your watch. Have a nice flight! We will begin takeoff in just a few moments."

I settled into my seat next to Sophia with Selena on my lap. Thank gods it wasn't a full flight. Percy was right across the aisle with Rion on his lap talking to the man sitting next to him.

The man was a tall, broad shouldered man with graying hair on his head. He spoke with articulacy and sharpness to his voice, yet it was calm and soothing. It almost reminded me if Chiron.

"We are you off to?" He asked Percy calmly.

"We're heading to Hawaii. That's my wife Annabeth and my daughters Selena and Sophia. Annabrth, meet Carson Bailey. He's from England. Carson, you already met Rion." Carson turned to me and smiled, revealing sparkling white teeth.

"It's a pleasure, Mr. Bailey." I shook his hand and smiled. He had a tight grip, but it was friendly.

"The pleasure us all mine. Oh, and it's Carson if you please. You have a very nice family, Mrs. Jackson. May I call you Annabeth? What a lovely name! And what lovely kitties!"

"Oh, Annabeth is fine, Mr. B- I mean Carson." He chuckled and turned back around to face Percy.

'What a nice old man,' I thought to myself.

--7:39 A.M. Pacific Time--

"You may now unbuckle your seat belts! You baggage claim will be number 4. Thank you for flying with us today. We hope to see you soon." Percy and I gathered our things and walked off the plane, rushing to our next gate. Once we arrived, Percy took Sophia to go get some food, so I was left with two sleeping babies. I pushed the stroller to some empty seats, setting my bags down on two seats next to me to save then for Sophia and Perce. Seconds later a young woman sat down on the other side of me.

"Do you mind if I sit here? I really don't want to- Oh I'm sorry let me move. I'm so rude and-" I cut her off chuckling.

"No, it's fine! Sit down! Please." She smiled gratefully and sat down.

"My name is Paige Donovan. I'm fifteen." She put her head down. I felt bad for her. I didn't even know her but I wanted to. She reminded me of myself. She wore dark, dirty jeans and a hoodie. Her brown hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail.

"My name is Annabeth. It's nice to meet you Paige. If you don't mind my asking are you okat?" She sighed deeply and shrugged. She looked exhausted.

"My- my boyfriend," she swallowed and tried to hold back her tears, but one escaped the wall and flowed down her face like a river.

"I haven't seen him in weeks. He said he'd meet me at the gate outside of... Of the park... But... He never came out." She fidgeted in her seat and I decided to risk the question.

"Are- are you a half blood?" Paige's eyes widened.

"How did you... Are you..."

"Yes. I know exactly how you feel. My boyfriend, who is now my husband, told me things like that. But it turns out fine. Do you have a phone?" She nodded guiltily.

"Here's my number. Call me if you need anything. Do you live at Camp?" My hushed voice was almost silent. She nodded yet again.

"Are you the Annabeth? As in Annabeth Chase? Wasn't your boyfriend Percy Jackson?" I laughed.

"Yep. This is my son Rion, that's my daughter Selena, and Percy and my other daughter Sophia are somewhere over there." Just then, Paige's flight was called. I hugged her and waved. I saw a new confidence about her. She was just like me.
