Hello guys! I want to say thank you to all of my readers, especially MarksMan11 for the awesome comments and ideas. You rock! Here's his idea in my story...

I hadn't been up all night with Sophia and neither had Percy. She was an amazing sleeper- never cried, or whined or anything. Just went right to sleep. Sophia had been in bed for about three hours and it was almost midnight. We were reading in bed, the dark night silent around us except for the wind and the ocean. I was reading a book about architecture while Percy played Temple Run on our IPad. "Yes!" He exclaimed. I frowned at him and put a finger to my mouth. "Shhh! We don't wanna wake Soph." He looked at me and mouthed 'Sorry'. I smiled and continued reading. All of the sudden, I heard something. Like a faint clawing or something. Immediatly I got alarmed. "Percy..." "What? What's wrong?" He said, turning off the device. "Do you... hear something?" I stayed quiet as he closed his eyes and listened. "The wind. That's all. Why?" He asked worriedly. "Oh, gods, I think I'm hallucinating." he laughed as I shook my head. So I kept reading. ten minutes later, we both heard it. "Where is that coming from?" Percy  said as he got out of bed. His flannel PJs were huge on him, i observed as he walked over to me. I slipped out of bed too. He glanced at his nightstand, where I knew he kept Riptide. He practiced three times a week in case, and ever since Sophia came around, it's been more and more frequent. He went and grabbed the pen as I grabbed my dagger from under the bed. I grasped his hand and whispered a prayer to Zeus. We walked out of the room and headed down the hall, but the noise was gone again. "I am NOT letting Sophia get hurt." Percy said as he tightened his grip on my hand and on the pen. We shared a glance, and I frowned as the house grew quiet. "Why do I have to be so powerful?!" Percy muttered. We stood in the hallway. "We should check downstairs."I decided, and I followed Percy down the winding staircase. I looked around. Percy's hand left mine as he looked around the kitchen. He motioned for me to check the family room. Nothing. Percy was sson behind me. I went to check the windows. All locked. The door was locked. I glanced at the clock that read 12:30. Everything looked the same. Percy looked in my office. Still not a clue. The bathroom was empty. "I am sure that we heard something." I said as i held Percy's hand. He looked up the stairs, and then glanced at me. "You don't think that-" I stopped and rushed upstairs followed by a worried Percy. I quickly opened the 1st guest room's door. Nothing. A beam lightened up the room and I whirled around in time to see... Percy holding a flashlight. We checked the other bedrooms as well,  but Percy pointed at Sophia's room. I knew I was the only room we hadn't checked, but I didn't want to believe it. Then, I heard it. Along with a cry. Percy tore open her door and I followed. At first I didn't see anything, but then i saw it: Kampe. I freaked out as she loomed over my one month old's crib. "Sophia!" I screamed. She cried harder and harder. Percy lunged at her, his practice now helping him in the small battle. Poison dripped from her new sword- the exact same one the had been used against us in Alcatraz. She was huger than I remembered, and instantly I was by Percy's side. I tried to get Sophia out, but it was no use. The snakes the came out of her hair and legs spat poison at us, but Percy didn't flich as it touched his invincible skin. She tried to sink her fangs into me, but i dodged her and the poison. Sophia was now yelling her head off, and Kampe cackled. My only obstacle was Kampe. the only thing blocking me from my poor Sophia was Kampe. As my thoughts vanished, I saw that Percy had summoned one of his own personal hurricanes, and it was dying out fast. Kampe was getting weaker tooI screamed as she neared Soph, and with one powerful stab, Percy made Kampe vanish. I kicked the dust around, andd threw some out the window, then locked it tightly. I picked up my baby and hugged her tightly. Percy arms were soon around us, and a tear trickled down my face as a saw a cut on her on her wrist that was bleeding. Percy went into her bathroom and came out holding a small baby-band-aid. He put it on her cut and I carried her downstairs. The clock read 1: 16. Percy was pulling out a bandage, and I looked at him, confused. "Have you checked out your arm recently?" he asked as he wrapped the long bandage around my arm, right below my shoulder. Part of the bandage was already red, and I wanted to cry out in pain. we sat down on the sofa, and Percy reached for a bottle to feed Soph. "What a night."
