Percy and Annabeth-Their future

House Boating

"OK, I think you're all set," Lucas said as we boarded took our places on the boat. Percy was at the wheel, and I was in the back shouting orders to him.  

We had rented the houseboat for the week. It was July 1st. Gorgeous sunny day. Ironically the houseboat was called Titan. On board with us was Sophia, Rion, Selena, Thalia, Leo, Jason, Piper, Karrie, Curt, Katie, Travis, Lia, Jillian, Steve, Rachel, Will, Julia, Abby, Scarlett, Frank, and a six month pregnant Hazel.

Ever since Valentine's Day, we had been trying to think of boy and girl names. So far, we'd come up with: Josey, Layla, and Heather for a girl, and Reese, Rex, and Chase. The guys weren't at all interested, only the gals. 

"All aboard!" Percy yelled. The lake was gorgeous, and so was the boat. It was three levels high, with a waterslide from the off the top of the boat. There were lounge chairs and a hot tub and a really nice outdoor eating space up there too. The rooms were really nice. All of the couples had their own rooms, which was really nice. Then the girls had a room and the boys had a room. The two extra bedrooms housed Thalia and Leo. The kitchen was really nice as well, and sat all 23 of us with a chair to spare. The fridge was stuffed with food to last all of us for the next week.

We began to pull out of the harbor and into the lake. All of the kids stood in their bathing suits with Piper, Thalia, Hazel, Katie, and Rach in the back of the boat. Will, Jason, Travis, and Leo all stood around with Percy in the front drinking beer. 

"Guys! Stop! OK, move the boat to the left. More. If you want to clear this, move the frakin' boat to the left!" I screamed. Percy just barely cleared it I sighed as we careened into the lake.

"Dinner!" Piper called from the outdoor dining on the top deck. We moms had slaved away to feed our army. Literally within two seconds, everyone was sitting down at a seat, mouth watering. 

"I'm hungwy Mommy!" Curt and Steve said in unison. Abby and Scarlett sat there wide eyed, with puppy dog eyes pleading food. Soon everyone had the same look. That's whe Piper began to serve. 

First came the corn. Then the burgers. Then the chips. Then the corn bread. Then...best of all...the molten chocolate lava cake.

"Oh my gods. This is one of ve best fings I have ever eaten!" Jason exclailmed as he ate. Everyone finished their cake quickly. As I ate mine, I savored the warmth from the sauce and marshmellow and- oh who am I kidding? I ate the thing like I'd never eaten before.

"But Mommy, I'm not tired! I am not going to bed." 

"I don't wanna!"

"NO!" 

"Ahhhh! I am not going to bed wight now!" Oh, the sweet sounds of.... putting little kids to bed on a boat. Piper, Katie, Rachel, and I were trying to put Karrie, Lia, Jillian, JUlia, Abby, Scarlett, Sophia, and Selena to bed, and I was seriously on my last nerve. Then Thalia walked in.

"I heard some screaming and yelling." Her bracelet was on her hand. Every girl froze, and I saw the terror in their eyes. They climbed into bed without a word, as if hypnotized. Thalia flicked off the light and we walked out silently. After everyone else had headed to bed, I met Percy in the kitchen.

"Hey." I heard, his voice breaking the quietness of  night.

"There's some more cake out here, so I've heard." Percy announced quietly.

"I believe," I began. I was interrupted by Percy's hand shoving a cake into my mouth.

"Eev, Visis Good!" I whispered.

My little demigods, I'm back! Sorry I haven't updated in a bit... I got some reallt harsh news. My family is moving across the country because my dad's job got transferred. It's been really hard because I have to leave behind so much. But I'm trying to stay positive. I'm going to get a bigger house, and a yard, which I've never had before! But If you guys don't mind, I might be slower updating. For some odd reason, March hates me, because everything bad happens in March for me. So I might not update this weekend. Please understand.
