hi everybody!! Thx for reading constantly with me and commenting!

Great, my parents and my brothers are coming in one day and the house is a mess! I wanted to yell. But Sophia doesn't like yelling. She actually hates it, and starts crying right away. I looked at the family room; there were baby toysscattered on the floor, two coffee cups full of three day old coffee, Percy's, Sophia's, and my own laundry spread out on the sofa. Percy walked in the door, just getting home from his trip to Chicago for work. Immediatly, he came and gave me a hug. "Hey, sweetie." I murmured into his ear as I looked up at him. A half confused, half worried expression appeared upon his face. "What's wrong? Where's Soph? Are you... okay?" He said, rapidly sitting me down on the sofa next to him. I took out my computer and showed him the email. It read:

To: Annabeth Jackson, Bobby, Matthew

From: Dad and Mom

Hello, Annabeth! How are you and Percy? How's my little grand-daughter? We're in town tomorrow. Mind if we swing by for a few days? The boys are on break. It's ski week. Love you! Tell Percy that we miss him too, and the boys are excited to see you and Percy and their NIECE Sophia. See you then! Bye.

Your loving dad

"Gods, Annabeth! I'm so sorry I left the place such a mess when your parents are coming! No offense, but they don't  give much warning." "Or choice. I mean, I couldn't say no. I didn't say, 'Are you in town?' Or 'Can we drop by when we visit you next month.' But tommorrow? That's just harsh." Percy bent down and started picking up Sophia's toys. "No! I don't want you to so that! I didn't mean for you to come home and clean!" her kissed me lightly on the nose. "It's fine, Annabeth." We shared a smile, and I raised my eyebrows. "Then it's on!" For the next hour, we raced sround the house, trying to clean up more than the other. We tied in the end. "Okay, okay." Percy said, panting. I was catching my breath as well- running up and down stairs and around a house can give you quite the work-out. As I looked up from bending over, I saw a grinning Seaweed Brain holding three bottles of WINDEX. I grabbed some paper towels, and we wiped the counters and windows down. Soon enough, it was sunset. We walked outside to our pool. I sat down at a deck chair while Percy brought me a glass of wine.  He sat down next to me and kissed me on the cheek. "I love you, Annabeth." We kissed as the waves crashed on the shore, and the sun set above them. I put my toes in the water, and he put his feet in. We held hands, and it seemed like the perfect moment. I was with what I loved, near what I loved, and in what I loved. I ran my fingers through Percy's jet black hair, his intese green eyes locking with my stormy eyes. I cracked a smile, and kicked slow, small kicks in the water as I sat on the edge. As soon as the sun set, it got cold and the wind picked up, but it was a beautiful night filled with a lot of stars for Long Island. And we kissed beneath the stars.

Hey sweetie! We just landed. You really don't need to have Percy pick us up, but if it's no trouble, then we appreciate it. How's Sophia? I'm so excioted to meet her inperson because I've only seen her in pictures and those FaceTime things. See you soon!

love,

MOM:)

I smiled at my mother's note. I was alone playing with Sophia while Percy went to go pick up Bobby, Matthew, my mom, and my dad. Sophia was starting to sit up, but she fell down a lot. I picked her up a spun her around. My jeans, flats, and long sleeve tee shirt felt awkward; if I were still even nineteen, I would NEVER have worn anything like it, but I had matured enough to bring myself to do it.  Sophia's blue dress looked really cute on her, and I felt the same intense eyes in her that I saw in Percy. Her blonde hair was coming in, and she had enough that I could put a tiny bow in it. Percy said it was ridiculous, but Sally said it looked good, and I agreed with my mother in law. I heard a car pull in, and as I looked out the window, I saw two boys, a tall man with glasses, and a shorter woman with blackish-reddish dyed hair. "Come on! Let's go meet your other grandparents, Soph." We walked outside and my mother went crazy freakish. "Hi mom. Welcome to Long Island."
