I stood in the front at 10:53 P.M. screaming at Percy. It was dark outside and the kids were asleep. 

"I HATE YOU! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" I yelled. He looked scared, shocked, and hurt. At the time I didn't care.

"Annabeth, I-"

"I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN TWO DAYS! TWO SOLID DAYS! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?"

"Annabeth, please-"

"DON'T YOU EVEN START THAT! WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING? ARE YOU A FREAKIN' TWO TIMER OR SOMETHING PERCY? HUH? IS THAT IT?" Tears escaped his eyes. Never before had he really cried from hurt. Never before had I caused him to cry.

"Wise Girl. Annabeth, please listen." He muttered through the rivulets of tears on his face.

"WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO YOU, YOU CHEATER! I'M DONE! I AM NOT LISTENING TO WHATEVER COMES OUT OF YOUR MOUTH! YOU'RE A CHEATER, PERCY! A CHEATER!" He backed away towards the street. I ran inside the house locking the door behind me. Tears fell down my face, and my rage continued. I stole a glance out the window and saw Percy sitting on a rock outside weeping. A pang of guilt hit me, but fury overcame me quicker. I grabbed my jacket and then opened the door and ran outside.

"Here's your ring back." I took off the ring without even a second glance.

"What? Annabeth, you can't be serious-"

"AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO ME?" 

"Annabeth, I'm not cheating on y-"

"DON'T LIE, PERSEUS! STOP LYING! I KNOW YOU'RE LYING!"

"Annbeth," he stuttered, " I promise you I'm not lying. I didnt cheat on you. I got something for-"

"NO! STOP IT! DON'T EVEN TRY BRIBERY! WHAT THE HECK PERCY!" and with that I ran into the street. My eyes were draining out a thousand tears per second. I heard foot steps, then felt arms around me.

"Leave me alone." I said sadly. The arms didn't let go. Percy turned me around to face him. He dried my tears, but they kept flowing down. His own tears were dried against his face, his eyes bloodshot.

"Annabeth, listen. Please listen. I wasn't cheating on you. Give me ten good reasons why I would ever cheat on you. I've got nothin. You are the sweetest, kindest, smartest, prettiest, most loving person I've ever met in my whole life. I had to go to Camp. I was kind of surprising you. I came home to come get you and this happened."

I looked up at my husband. He got down on one knee and opened his hand. In it were my rings. I took them and kissed him. 

"I- I'm really sorry. I thought-"

"Shh...It's okay. We all make mistakes. Isn't that what life is all about? Learning from your mistakes?"

I nodded my head and smiled. We kissed for a really long time. When I finally pulled away, I smiled. 

"Tomorrow night we'll have your parents watch the kids and we can see your little surprise, okay?"

"I love you Annabeth."

"I love you too Seaweed Brain."
