"No!" I screamed, my eyes opening. The dark bedroom was suddenly freezing. Percy was sitting up ext to me, his eyes wide.
"Annabeth? Are...are you okay?" He took me in his arms and stroked my hair. I shivered still, even in Percy's protective, loving arms. All because of a silly nightmare.
In the dream, I was standing in a cave. There was a curtain in front of me. From behind the curtain was a voice. The voice sounded like leaves rustling, and chalk scraping a chalkboard. Combined. It spoke,
"It is coming, my dearest, and this time you cannot prevent it. Your child, the fourth, and smallest, will be taken away from you. He will be raised by the enemy. He will be brain washed. He will not remember you. He will fight against your other children in the Great War. You will watch him die. He will injure two of your children, but they will both live. You and your husband will not be there to save the girls. You will have to suffer what your own parents went through. Only hearing, unable to help." Then I screamed. And woke up.
"Annabeth? Annabeth?! Please tell me what's wrong." I knew I wouldn't be able to keep this from him.
"Percy, our whole future is planned out. Our fourth child will taken away from us." There was an awkward silence for a few moments.
"Well...We... We can change that. We can change the future. I promise you that won't happen, sweetie. I swear that if our baby, if we have another, won't be taken away. If it is, I'll go and find it. Okay?" I nodded hesitantly. Then I fell asleep in his arms, safe and sound.

"You have got to be kidding me," I said. There I was at the doctors for my checkup. And there was Dr. McCormick telling me I was pregnant. She smiled slightly, then turned to some files.
"Is there something wrong? You always said you wanted more kids..." She began humming what sounded like Bruno Mars.
"It's just that..." I tried to think up an excuse quickly, but for once nothing came to mind.
"Expenses?" Phew. I nodded, relieved, but still a pained expression darkened my face. And my aura.
"Well, have a good day Annabeth. I'll see you in a month." She closed the door, and as she left, I broke down and cried.

"Shh, sweetie, I'll fix it. Please tell me what's wrong." Sally soothed. The kids were home with Thalia. Paul was away in San Diego for the week. Percy was holding my hand. I leaned on Sally's shoulder. Sobs took away my breaths, and tears flowed down my face. Percy stroked my face. Through the tears and sobs, I managed to speak garbled words.
"I went...to the doctors...for a checkup...and...and...the doctor...she told me I'm...pregnant!" I screamed the last part, then hibernated back into sobbing mode.
"And what's wrong with that?" Sally looked at Percy for guidance. So he told her about my prophecy-like dream.
"Oh, Annabeth! Shh, it's okay. It's just a prophecy! Look at you two. You've been prophesized to die for nearly two decades! But you are both here. He or she will be fine. And if he does get taken away, you have amazing friends and family. We'll all help you find him or her. The whole prophecy can't be true." Sally's motherly speech ceased my tears.
"Thank you," I hugged her tightly, and she hugged back.
"It's a pleasure, dear. You're the daughter I've never had, and you've kept my son alive since he was twelve. He would've been dead without you. So now he's going to help you. So will I. And Thalia, and all your other friends." Through all that I was going through, I allowed myself to smile. I'll be okay.

****Three Weeks Later****
"Welcome back!" It was December 1st. Snow fell lightly. Dr. McCormick offered me her hand and led me back to the ultrasound room. She informed me that I was four months pregnant and that they caught it reasonably late. She said that I was most likely due around May 15th. And then she told me that I would find out the gender of my baby when I was seven months along.
"Are you feeling better about this?"
"Yes," I responded quickly. After Sally's multiple pep talks, and Percy's soothing love, I was finally able to accept that it would turn out okay.
"Great. I was worried for a second there. If you don't mind my asking, how are Sophia, Selena, Rion, and Percy?" I smiled at the armness in her voice. She had delievered all three of my kiddies. She'll deliever my fourth too.
"They... are great. Loud and perky and quirky and crazy and all. But yeah, they're great." She laughed, something i had just taken up again. The sound sounded almost alien. But it also felt like home.
"Can I tell you something?" Dr. McCormick was rustling through papers, but immediatley stopped and took a seat across from me.
"Of course. Anything or everything or...Yes." I felt tears welling up inside me, which was so not like me.
"Thank you. For everything you've done. It...really, really means a lot. I wuldn't be who I am today without you." Dr. McCormick was choked up too, and seemed confused. She got up and wrapped me into a hug.
"You are a speacial woman, Annabeth Jackson. I admire you for that." Then, of course, her phoen rang. We both laughed and she went to pick it up. I waved goodbye and headed home.

That night, I was laying in bed, wondering. Percy was out at a bar with Jason and Leo and Frank. He had almost not gone because he had been worried about me, but I had insisted that he went.
So there I was at 10:00 PM staring at the ceiling, wondering about the future of me. Of Percy. Of my kids. Of my new baby. Of my family, and my friends. I lay there wondering simply about the future of US.

Author's Note:
Hey you faithful little demigods!!!!!!!!! I love you all. Can I tell you why? This might be long... Well, I'll tell you anyway. There are some people out there on Wattpad who I call 'day-makers.' You know why? Because every single day that you're up or down, they're there. They're there to tell you that's it'll be okay, that you'll get through, that it'll make you stronger and better. They'll tell you that they're there for you if you ever need to talk. And they ALWAYS are. It means so much to me, to know that someone else out there actually VOLUNTARILY takes time to comment on my chapters, and tell me that I am strong, and that I'll get through. Today, someone on Wattpad left me a comment that made me want to write 100+ chapters, just for her. Because of this one comment. One little paragraph. But in that one little paragraph was so much. And to me, it was the ultimte 'day-maker.' So I want to thank @polkadotcutie for her sweet, sweet, sweet comment on my profile. Thanks so much!!! ILYSM!! <3
And also... YOU GUYS!!!!!!! Thank you all so much!!!!!!!! 88,000 Reads?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you all have a great night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
